Jack let’s keep it simple , what’s been the best staying performance you’ve see this season …
January 14, 2023 at 16:10 #1630976I’m questioning is it the strongest “by a lot” which is your words. I wouldn’t say it’s much stronger than the Betfair Chase- i also wouldn’t say its much better than the race at Tramore. Indo is a strong formline and Stattler had to give him weight.
Again, the Clan point was about assuming if Nicholls runs BMG, we know he’ll handle it- we don’t.
I’m having a stinker in your and Tizz’s eyes- fair enough + fair play to you both. I stand by my views.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 14, 2023 at 16:21 #1630977Jack Tramore was a 2 horse race where the winner wasn’t 100% fit , the Betfair was a good race but didn’t have the depth of the KG , you keep going on about BMG handling chelt , we don’t know he won’t , did Conflated handle Cheltenham , he’s ran once and fell , hes much more exposed than BMG , I respect you for sticking to your views but your trying to pick holes in the best form this season
January 14, 2023 at 16:37 #1630979I wouldn’t say the KG was far off a 2 horse race in the end, the way Envoi fell out the back of the TV.
Whether or not Tramore’s a 2 horse race doesn’t bother me, it was 2 high class horses taking eachother on. Indo and Stattler both having their first runs, probably neither are going to be 100%, are they? As Tony Kennan alluded to on the OFF THE FENCE show, it’s probable Indo was a bit straighter than normal for this.
He’s run to 170 and 163 RPRs on his last two reappearances before Tramore, so either way i’d say even allowing for a year older- he’s capable of a decent level. As for your Conflated stuff, i’ll leave it at the door, i can’t be bothered.

January 14, 2023 at 16:55 #1630981The discussion is moot anyway lads
Galopin slaughters them
January 14, 2023 at 17:08 #1630983FF delivers his pipe bomb lol
January 14, 2023 at 17:13 #1630985Just wins doesn’t he (can’t let Ian down by not saying this)
Wins the irish gold cup on the snaff
Then is part of the mullins Friday domination with Lossiemouth/blood destiny and ADV plus his inevitable county or pipe good thing
January 14, 2023 at 17:15 #1630986Not for me , don’t think he’ll stay and what happens when push comes to shove
January 14, 2023 at 17:22 #1630991Given the lack of pace in the race I have no worries about stamina myself
Just looks like a relentless galloping machine and I can see him being better when he goes up in trip
Wouldn’t touch him at 13/8 but think he is the likeliest winner by some way. Better 13/8 shots run most days of the week.
The most exciting staying novice chaser moving into open company for a good while
A plus tard would be the main threat but he’s had a very poor prep
Has a horse ever won the gold cup having being pulled up on the previous start?
January 14, 2023 at 17:23 #1630992Can’t think of one off the top of my head
January 14, 2023 at 19:29 #1631010I think if Nicholls leaves Frodon in the race it’s plain for all to see what his job on the day is going to be.
Without him then GDC probably empties 2 out. With him in the race he pulls up!
You heard it here first!

Not so easy now the qualifying rules have been changed for the handicaps.
He will probably win the Hunter Chase and the Mares Chase instead.

FF NEVER sits on the fence – win or lose, the man’s a legend.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 15, 2023 at 20:00 #1631094APT and Minella Indo to go straight to Cheltenham De Bromhead confirms.
He doesn’t sound overly concerned about taking APT straight there and you can’t expect him to say otherwise but to me that’s a huge red flag that he isn’t A) ready to run at the DRF and B) he’s just not himself at all and not fully over whatever it was that’s been troubling him since Haydock.
The sound you can hear is me wiping my tears with my multiples slips involving him!
January 15, 2023 at 20:18 #1631096Will Rachel stick with APT or go to the possibly revitalised Minella ? , is anyone else getting itchy feet about Allaho , honesty I wouldn’t be amazed if GDC ran in the Ryanair if Allaho doesn’t make it
January 15, 2023 at 20:30 #1631098There is zero chance of GDC running in the Ryanair if he wins the irish gold cup
If allaho doesn’t make it mullins has blue lord who would be fav for the ryanair with no allaho
He loses at the DRF they may be tempted to go ryanair with GDC
