Hello to every one

Last week was good but not great. Scored 800 Points and now have 9460 Points and a rank of 222.

Still have 2 swaps left and waiting to see if Space Blues runs this weekend at ParisLongchamp,
before making another change to my team.

I have given up on another Bonus Race but still have hopes of winning Jac’s book.

Really looking forward to the clash of the big two on Sunday.

I threw caution to the wind and used my last swap but forgot to put Space Blues in. Anyway managed a few nice points and a last hurrah at leading the competition with Andre..I’m relying on just 10 horses now for the next 5 weeks.

I hope you do win the book John I will have a couple of small consolation prizes for 2nd and 3rd like notepad and pen..sorry it can’t be much bigger.

Using my final swap I have managed to join Euroalien (Andre) at the top of the Leaderboard this week with points from Master Of The Seas and Coroebus.
John Gooch moves into 2nd position with iTonge not far behind.

With Arc weekend coming up there could be some nice points for those of us with Althiqa (Sun Chariot), Adayar and Hurricane Lane (Arc) and Space Blues also if he goes to France.

The very wise players who have hung onto their swaps should start making a move now..best of luck..here are the scores on the doors with a few needing to update their position….

Hello to all

I decided to go all out with my entry this weekend and made 6 changes
to my ten. I have to be pleased with my score of 2,700 Points this week
bringing the season total to 12,160 and a rank of 100.

This is by far my best total in this competition and with one swap left giving
me a real chance of improving my position still more.

One of the first things I was told many years ago about trying to decide the
outcome of any race was the going conditions, and all the rain in Paris surely
had a part to play in the results today

However the good news is that Adayar and Hurricane Lane are to race as 4 year olds.
Both are top class racehorses. But for me the best result was the Group One victory
of Space Blues who I think is my favourite Godolphin horse.

Anyway it is close to my bedtime.

“Only” 2,000 pts for me this weekend. (Manobo, Maxfield, Real World – 400 pts each, Hurricane Lane – 300pts and the lovely Space Blues – 500pts). Now on 11,700 pts and 129th! One Swap remaining for Breeders Cup Weekend (probably).

Well done to all those with so many lovely points this week what a great race for the finish this will be.

Andre and Tonge fantastic points which have shot you both up the Leaderboard but I don’t think anyone has turned in 2700 points in one weekend as John Gooch has done you did some serious homework John and it paid dividends..very well done.

I will update Leaderboard later in week when all the scores are in but as Tonge says John
you are going to be very hard to catch and I can see you coming in very close to the top 30 on the final leaderboard.
Great play by all (excluding me lol) I had Noble Truth and Hurricane Lane yesterday and have a few to run but no hope to catch up after a few disasters. My own fault I didn’t have the time to study and give it the time it deserved this year but still backed Space Blues yesterday, so very happy and even happier if Native Trail wins the Dewhurst on Saturday.

Welcome to your latest Club Godolphin newsletter!
2021 continues to go from strength to strength for Team Godolphin with no fewer than 18 G1 wins on the board. There’s still lots to look forward to as the year draws to a close, with plenty of excitement ahead of Champions Day at Ascot, the Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar and the Spring Carnival in Australia.

Both the European and US Fantasy Stable League and the latest Australian League are in full swing and it’s tight at the top! Don’t forget to make use of your swaps and keep an eye out for our bonus races – more of those coming your way very shortly.
