..27th March .. Dubai World Cup Saturday which was cancelled last year.Results really S-L-O-W coming through from Club Godolphin .. hoping tomorrow they will have updated fully..
Managed to find Walton Street today,
Zakouski 2nd, D’bai 2nd and Lazuli 3rd..plus 400 Bonus points for Walton Street and Dubai Future..but no idea what my final total is..hopefully the site will update later..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...What on earth is happening to Godolphin, a huge concern proud of their
achievements and rightly so. So why are we into the next day and none of
the scores for today’s races have been updated, not to mention putting up
the bonus horses too late, and then not accepting them half an hour before
the race. No response from my earlier email which they acknowledged receipt
of, and not to mention that hoary old chestnut of no league of leagues. It’s
like they went out into the yard and said, “hey you, yes you shovelling that
horseshit, I’ve got a new job for you. Get yourself down to argos and buy a
laptop, none of those fancy ones though. You are now our head of MyClubGodolphin”
“Oh is that like I’ve to call it Wullie’sClubGodolphin your sheikhness”
“No you fecking (or Dubai equivalent) idiot, and don’t mess up cos they were
saying we were rubbish last year”.Well that’s my take on it, at least then it might be understandable why they
are making such a pig’s ear of it, and we’re only just past the 1st day. Only
another 2 months to go
Not many points for me only had D’bai and Zakouski but my total points is nil,am I ready the scoring system wrong?
It’s a complete mess Nick, they haven’t marked many, if any, of the
stables yet. I thought hey were bad last year, but they are hitting
new lows this year.Haven’t a scooby if it’s right,but apparently I have 290 pts.

Hi Graham I can feel your anger and rightly so, echo everything that you have said..that did make me smile.sooo true.
Nick you should have 600 points and DG not sure unless you put up your scoring horses even then there is the bonus race to take into account.
My score now says 1290 but the horses in my stable are only scored as 290 points Walton Street 250 and Lazuli 40 and I by some miracle got 400 Bonus race points. But they still need to add D’bai and Zakouski.
It really is a shambles but hope you’ll all stick with it and somehow we will make it an enjoyable comp…Jac :

I have to agree with what seems to be the overwhelming view that for some reason Godolphin
do not seem to be interested in how they are running this competition.However let us hope things will improve as the weeks go by.
The scores do now appear to be up to date and for Jac to put together a list of our
mini league after week one I have 1350 Points and a position of joint 201st.Not sure if this is good or not as most of my entry ran on Thursday and now have
to decide about what transfers to make.Many Thanks and hope everyone stays well and safe.
I have 1040 points (436th). Astonishing that they haven’t come up with a way of automatically logging points. It really does seem as if stables are individually “marked”. Still a bit of fun though and what else have we got to do?!!

John with 1350 points (201st position on the League),
myself in 2nd 1290 points (215th) and Tonge 3rd with 1040 points (436th)
Nick 650 points and then
DG 290 ..but will wait for you to confirm those 290 points Diamond and wait for all the others to filter in before putting up a Scoreboard.As you say Tonge it’s all a bit of fun and John let’s hope a couple of horses from this weeks stable make an appearance next Thursday .. I have 3 that haven’t run yet. no idea if they will or when just hope I”m good at looking into the future.

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Just a little hint when doing the Bonus Race as yesterday there were 6 runners ..you don’t have to predict all 6 places you can put them all down to come in first if you want too and grab at least 200 points. (If you are certain a Godolphin horse will win).
I did 4 of mine to win yesterday and 2 to place

At least they
put the competition up and as Tonge rightly says, we do have plenty of
time on our hands.They wouldn’t accept my bonus selections 30 mins before the race, so it’s
just my stable (Blue Wonders) points….1200 and position 325.
