Wd mickeyjp. Cheers Raymo with the score updates.
July 31, 2021 at 18:13 #1552958Well done MickeyJP. Thought I was doing ok but my zero points today put an end to that!
Thanks Raymo for the scoring
July 31, 2021 at 19:00 #1552968The cakes are the least you deserve for running the competition raymo.Very tight as always but I managed to avoid a bad day which kept me up near the front. Well done to all the guys with some massive daily scores. Finally and most importantly my condolences to Nathan and his brother.
July 31, 2021 at 22:11 #1552993Well done & congratulations MickeyJP! It was a tough week and you were the most consistent.
Congrats also to Mincamus and Mike007 for finishing second and third. Thanks again to Raymno for running this comp for us!
July 31, 2021 at 22:15 #1552994Well done to Mickey for topping the Leaderboard tonight
and to Min and Mike with terrific scores in 2nd and 3rd place.
Hard luck but well played Graham for just missing a place on the Podium by a hairs breadth after those extra points are added..well played guys..

It was one of the most difficult Goodwood Meetings I can remember with so many runners falling victim to the weather on the first day Stradivarius the most high profile of these.
Many thanks to Raymo who stepped in for Nathan this week to run the 5 day marathon. You were on those daily scores so quick Raymo I bet you felt like you were back in the bookies settling up the slips. Well done for winning the cakes but Mrs Raymo has to have some credit for helping create the perfect table..

Really Raymo top marks for doing this for our Nathan.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 31, 2021 at 22:38 #1552997Sorry Graham you are right I had Capital theory down for 10pts not 12 pts oops

And thanks everybody for the patience and understanding
and yes Jac it was like being back in the eighties and nineties in the betting shop

Finally again all our thoughts should be with the main man as far as these competitions are concerned. Nathan take comfort from the good memories and remember with fondness and smiles
August 1, 2021 at 08:32 #1553015Well done MickeyJP, top stuff
good effort in behind for the placings
Raymo you have done a great job between you and the Missus on the scoring, enjoy the cakes my friendThank you for the kind messages. I’m going to be taking a bit more time out so if someone could run the York competition it would be a big help to me.

August 1, 2021 at 09:44 #1553029Take all the time you need Nathan.
I’d be happy post up the Thread and do the scores for the first two days in the 4PP way if whoever did the last 2 days could set up the columns and put the scores on the doors so to speak.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 1, 2021 at 10:05 #1553032Nathan I know youve got enough on your plate just now, I’m happy to pitch in mate
Jac I’ll help out, I did it in this format before, I’ve got no problems with the scoring
as per the one just done by Raymo, putting the columns together is a bugger though when
you don’t know techy ways of doing them, but I guddled through before and I’ll happily
do it again for Nathan. If you set up the the thread Jac I’ll do the scoring for the
competition
August 1, 2021 at 10:53 #1553037Thanks Graham for stepping in here we all love these comps but they don’t run themselves.
I’ll happily set up the Thread and do the first days scoring leaving you just the 3 days to sort out as my columns would look more like a game of Snakes and Ladders.
Also any day you might need a hand just ask and I can tot up scores and email them to you.By the way been meaning to say well done with your Stewards cup winner Commanche Falls and getting in at 14/1.
Quite a move up that Leaderboard on the last few days I reckon without that first day rainfall you might have done it.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 1, 2021 at 11:18 #1553041Thanks Jac, I always keep an eye out for Dods in a big sprint race, he’s a master
at getting them ready. Yep if I’d put my nap on him rather than my other 50/1
shot in the Stewards cup I’d have tied with minicamus. I’m happy with my finish
though, especially aafter those 1st 2 abysmal days, bottom of the league I was
.That’s great if you do the 1st day Jac, I’ll manage the rest fine
August 1, 2021 at 11:59 #1553046Best wishes Nathan.
August 1, 2021 at 12:29 #1553049Well done on winning the competiton Mickeyjp! Thanks for running it Raymo and Mrs Raymo!
August 1, 2021 at 22:44 #1553160Well done on a great score Mickeyjp! Thanks for running the competition Raymo.
Condolences to Nathan and family on the loss of your brother. May he rest in peace
August 2, 2021 at 00:18 #1553168Thanks as always everyone for running the competition.
My sincere sympathies to Nathan on the passing of your brother, may he rest in peace.
August 2, 2021 at 18:04 #1553230Well done MickeyJP, an exceptional score in what was for most people a tricky week to find winners. Well done to Mincamus and Mike007 on the podium positions too.
Thanks to Raymo for running the competition and finally, thoughts with Nathan.
August 2, 2021 at 19:07 #1553234Was indeed a very tricky week with trying to work out who would handle the going. I can’t thank raymo and of course Nathan enoughfor running these competitions as they make every big racing festival much more enjoyable. I would help with running it but I’m afraid I’m a dinosaur when it comes to technology. Thank heavens I have two boys who help me order stuff.
