One of those paid by Lost Soldiar and Co to save those nice Bookie chappies each way money?
Only joking, LS.Value Is EverythingJune 15, 2019 at 12:06 #1445380Doubt if there’ll be any more bets on today’s racing. Might be a bet in France tomorrow and will keep an eye on Royal Ascot’s weather.

Do Laddies also pay RTV to employ Angus McNae, LS?Despite Mekong putting up vastly improved form in defeat on good or good-firm ground… Apparently we should all be opposing him today due to “needing the mud”… Just because he’s previously been an impressive winner of a couple of heavy ground minor events (inferior form).

Value Is EverythingJune 15, 2019 at 20:13 #1445450NO No No. Always happy to follow your staking plan GT
June 15, 2019 at 20:45 #1445451Prix De Diane:
57 points @ 11/2 (PP) Commes (min 5/1)
18 points @ 22/1 (WH) Wonderment (min 20/1)
56 points @ 13/8 (B365) Siyarafina (min 6/4)
16 points @ 33/1 (PP) Amarena (min 25/1)Value Is EverythingJune 15, 2019 at 22:21 #1445453It would be the same staking plan, Mtoto. Whenever four horses are believed to be value (unless all are outsiders) it’s just a question of choosing which to make main bets and which saver/s. In this race I make four horses value, but to back all four as main bets would be too high a stake. So only a personal choice of which horse/s to make a saver/s. ie Which combination to choose. If choosing Siyarafina as a main bet, the stake is dictated by how much value is in the bet. My idea of its chance is 44% minus odds available 13/8 38.1% = 5.9 x 8 = 47.2 + 44 = 91.2 = (if a main bet) 91 points staked. I’ve personally chosen Siyarafina as the saver because there wouldn’t be as much profit if she won… Even though percentage-wise I make her technically the best value. 5.9% difference in my idea of Siyarafina’s fair chance and its available odds, compared to 4.6% Commes, 1.7% Wonderment and 1.85% Aramena.
eg If choosing to make Commes as the saver you could do:
91 points @ 13/8
18 @ 22/1
16 @ 33/1
saver 23 @ 11/2
…for 148 staked and if Siyarafina wins 238.88 returned, 90.88 points profit.
When profit is less than 100 I tend to back the bigger prices as the main bets…Although considered both Commes and Wonderment as the savers:
91 Siyarafina, 16 Aramena, 21 Commes and 6 Wonderment. 134 staked for 104.88 profit if Siyarafina wins, 410 Aramena. However, I’ll also often consider backing the horses I consider value that are starting to turn blue on oddschecker (shortening) as the main bets and those in pink (drifting) as the saver/s. ie More likely that I am right in thinking something is value if others are thinking the same.Value Is Everything -
