Haven’t separated the two tbh, Istabraq.
I don’t do many lay bets anyway, so the sample size would be dubious regarding any conclusion. However, suspect my lay bets wouldn’t be as good. They do seem less reliable than back bets. Mostly used as just a top up anyway, to lose a little more than the others if one horse in the race seems particularly poorly priced. :rose:

Betfair down again and may not have time to do much tomorrow morning – elsewhere and doing other things in the next few days. Wanted a few savers and a bet in the Tatts Gold Cup. :negative:

With so many bookmakers offering 6/1 right now, you’ll probably be able to get better in the morning but I won’t have much time so:

Indeed Baynet appears a very faithful dog to you Ginger
But apparently he and your other followers should know that it’s not the greatest art what you do just tipping up the 2 or 3 likely ones supported by 2 or 3 savers, as any fool could do this

    34 points @ 100/30 (L) Wild Illusion (min 3/1)
    37 points @ 3/1 (B365) Zabeel Prince (min 3/1)
Again, you’ll probably be able to get better than 3/1 Zabeel Prince tomorrow if waiting.

    Oh dear,
Seems not quite all from me tonight.
You’re giving away just how much you know about betting, Hein.
Whether punters back 1 horse or 4 or more in races, successful betting is all about backing horses at better odds than their real chance of winning. For sure, betting my way means I’ll win more often than most bettors; but that means I also need a much higher Strike Rate to make a good profit… and I achieve that and more. 30% ROI over two years, 64% ROI this season.

Come and have a go if you think any fool can do it. LOL
Everyone is welcome in DLAPland. :rose:

Sure Ginger you stick to your well known arrogance, I wouldn’t have thought anything else of you :rose:
Maybe over 10 or 20 years you will really gain some profit  , but your “system” is almost guaranteed to be free of the least amount of joy or fun! So keep on and sharpen up your calculator, some dogs will even follow you!

Oh Hein, I do love you.
If making as much money as I do anyone would have loads and loads and loads and loads of fun… Racing has allowed me to give up work! And just because someone loves to study does not mean he/she loves the sport and horses any less than anyone else. It was the love of horses that first got me in to racing – at first I wasn’t interested in gambling. But – if it makes you feel better about yourself then believe what you want to believe.

I haven’t read the 1000G thread yet Hein, so i don’t know if this is in retaliation to that; but what’s the need? No need to come on someones thread and mock them.
