well done with TH, that was 3.17 slow, about 1.3 slower than last seasons that was run on GS. But cannot remember the wind direction last season. Anyway leave you to it and GL
September 14, 2018 at 15:55 #1373897Good point, nwalton; although the headwind seems very light now and front/prominent runners are doing better than I’d expect in a headwind. May be it’s just on the soft side of good now.
As long as it’s no firmer than good tomorrow I’ll be happy.

17 points each way @ 15.5/1 (betfair) Unfortunately (min 12/1)Thought I’d be backing Mutashry here, despite running over 10f and 8.6f last time I thought a fast run 7f would be fine. However, I can’t find any natural pace in this race. So if a slowly run race it’ll be more like coming back from 10f to 8.6f to (not 7f but) 6.5f. Although there’ll be a lot of talk in the media on a Saturday about “where’s the pace coming from”? So they could still go a fair lick. However, is a fairly big chance of positional/speed advantage. Oh This Is Us possibly the most likely to get a positional advantage; has been prominent before although not too well away last time out when victorious. The horse, Unfortunately can track the pace, but the reason have gone for him is he has sprinting speed. So may cope better with a slowly run race (if settling well). Hasn’t shown his two year old form yet this season and disappointed in France last time but favoured visor back on now and Frankie booked.

Yes Jack,
On form I do think Laurens has the upper hand over the rest; but being the front runner she’s likely to fight AC and that may well soften her up. Magical is also the likeliest of the Coolmore trio to challenge early. So can see Happily or possibly Clemmie picking up the pieces for second.Value Is EverythingSeptember 15, 2018 at 12:35 #1374095Matron (betting without fav)

Oh This Is Us is normally always held up in midfield Ginge.
He travels better with cover
You said yourself that he has the speed and that’s what Moore rode him for
The horse just wasn’t good enough today but ran a good race in line with his oddsGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
