That’s a fair assessment. I didn’t take the going into consideration and it’s always soft in France 11 times out of 10 depending on the groundsman’s report. I think Haggas has done well with her could of been easy to chuck her into the deep end early but he has taken his time and it’s paid off well so far.

I’ll probably go in again, not yet though Mtoto, 6/4 across the board can only get bigger imo. However, it is a maiden with little form to go by and in form Andrew Baldings improve a lot from first to second start – Indomitable well backed overnight. Barys well backed against the Johnston horse too; so there may be more opposition than the bare Timeform ratings suggest. Sky Defender probably not as far in front of rivals than I originally believed. So although with the favourite out SD now has a better chance, not as much as my original bet/minimum bet would suggest. I’d now have his chance around 44% 5/4 and minimum bet 6/4.
Decided not to bet in the Lonsdale Cup, on paper absolutely no pace in the race and can’t work out who will go on. Might play in-running, backing the front runner ew.
