GT good to see you on Blame Roberta, nice 3rd at Windsor I’d say….
Word of warning my big price bets have been beaten a nose recently haha
Still that would land nice ew profit
Yes, Brave Roberta is far less exposed than many of these, Jack. Just the two runs – albeit undoubtedly needs to progress. Taking in to account showed quite a bit of improvement at Windsor despite not getting away on terms… If well out of the gate this time, that upward curve of form could give her a chance here – in a race with fewer progressive types than normal and many racing over a trip seemingly short of their best.
Am afraid we’ve got to accept big priced picks are going to fail in photos more times than succeed. LOL
The ones that do get their heads in front should more than make up for it.

And my biggest bet this year is on… A Brian Meehan horse.

12 points @ 16/1 (B365) Emirates Flyer (min 14/1)Thing that guided me in this race is how little natural pace there is. Even thought about backing the three outsiders. First Sitting and Fajaj have front run before, but only occasionally. Have opposed Desert Encounter and Autocratic with small LAY bets (I don’t often put Lay bets up on this thread) because they’re invariably held up. Will a first time tongue tie and visor mean the Stoute horse changes tactics? Doubt it. That said could improve if getting a fair pace. Spark Plug usually races mid-div or sometimes further back. Wasn’t that far behind last time out and hopefully won’t be far away with Crowley replacing usual rider Spencer. Emotionless didn’t seem suited when front running was tried, usually races mid-div but if it’s slowly run may have more speed than rivals. Although fact he hasn’t won since the Champagne Stakes as a two year old is a negative and therefore only a saver; may be more consistent now gelded. Emirates Flyer doesn’t have the form to win this and mostly raced on all weather of late. However, looking further back seems just as good on turf. Hasn’t often led, but usually races up with or near the pace – as a second string wouldn’t be surprised if going to the front. Outsider worth a bet.

Possibility of torrential rain in BBC’s forecast; could be very soft, could be very firm if missing the tracks, could be anything in between if only getting some precipitation.Value Is EverythingJuly 28, 2018 at 10:06 #13612643:40 Ascot

40 points @ 10/1 (Betfred) Crystal Ocean (min 15/2)Been told you can get 12/1 with Corals and 15/1 with Ladbrokes. I thought those prices were mistakes, but if you can get that biggest price that would be a 60 points @ 15/1
