1:10 Plunpton:
115 points @ 8/11 (B365) Optimus Prime (min 4/6)Don’t often bet odds-on, but Optimus Prime’s two main rivals come from a couple of trainers yet to hit top form this season. David Pipe has had a disappointing start to the season, with the very few winners; should beat Shaama Grise anyway even if capable of running to his hurdles form on Chase debut. Gary Moore had a winner on Friday, his first in over a month and nothing San Pedro De Senam has done suggests he’s able. Optimus Prime looked a good chase prospect when making all and jumping well to beat Tommy Silver last time; the 3rd Behind Time has 41 lengths to make up and only 5 lbs better off. imo Optimus Prime has around a 1 to 2 chance.

Ye’ but not all weather Lingfield.
Enjoying studying a lot more again and trying to do at least one bet a day on Class 3 and better. Did I once put up Plumpton as a course for the chop? Plumpton’s a nice course; but there’s still too much racing.Today’s tips don’t look so good at the moment, not many have shortened. So may be my winning run will come to an end today. Dinsdale being very well backed suggests better is expected with headgear reaplied, so Sea Wall and Clayton might not have the chances I thought. Anyone who’s not bet yet might reduce stakes on those. Sea Wall might get a soft lead here and is in good form – unlike some here – and may still have a bit of improvement in him. Can’t understand market moves for Cloudy Beach (unless a back to lay opportunity) and Wings Of Smoke (63 lengths last last time out). Grand Vision I can see coming on for his reappearance and stable in good form; but this is a minimum trip for him and will probably need a fast pace. That said, he’s capable of making it. Even so, prefer the fresh horses Persian Snow and Alltheger No Idea. Latter lost his confidence in his jumping in the latter stages of last season but was fairly proficient in his early starts. Could be he’ll jump better fresh and imo in form Cawley replacing Bargary another positive. Persian Snow won his only two starts last season for this amateur rider, including after a long break. Stable yet to hit top form which is a bit of a worry, but Persian Snow is much more lightly raced than these and therefore imo the most likely to improve.

Arghhh!!! Saver beating the main bet in a photo. Tom Connon probably would’ve won had he not been outjumped at the last. Thought he also gave the winner (who’s got plenty of speed for a finish) a soft lead/best position for the sprint for home. But at least I didn’t lose any money.
Value Is EverythingDecember 5, 2017 at 14:50 #1330519When the first bookmaker priced up yesterday for this 3:00 Persian Snow was 5/2 fav, now there’s people laying him @ 13/2 on betfair. On market odds doesn’t appear fit for reappearance.
