You are certainly putting some faith in the Lavelle team – hope it is form related and not down to chance meetings in the supermarket!

Personally, I will be very disappointed if Oscar Rock doesn’t win this. I think even a reproduction of his run behind Ballyalton would be good enough but there must be a fair chance he will improve significantly given the softer surface. Captain Cutter definitely wants a trip but I will be surprised if he is good enough in this company.

Thanks Stilvi and Kasparov. Bit disappointing didn’t get the very best price Mountainous, and took 7/1 Captain Cutter when SP was 8/1. But with four winners from bets in four races, can’t complain.

Shame about the site outage, tried tipping for New Years Day. Sorry about aftertiming, but again a clean sweep, three winners from bets in three races, main bet @ 11/2 (again SP greater @ 7’s Mendip Express and Double Ross @ 2/1. Saver Oscar Whisky also won. Though good job I didn’t put it up. Gord would’ve gone mental, me backing 3 horses in a 4 horse race (left out Taquin).

Now makes 11 wins (well, one an each way (money back) 2nd) including 4 savers from 12. Only race to let me down on that run was Cue Card’s 40/1.

Back on the right track and looking forward to 2014. Planning on working out more mid-week stuff soon.
