Kauto Stone is 7/1 as I type – not to mention it’s elastic going preferences, and the Sandown ground which changes depending on Ginger’s point of view at the time.

Kauto Stome is 6/1 with Fred Done on oddschecker right now, it’s been 6/1 for some time. I even checked by phoning them a few minutes ago. I suggest you do the same if you don’t believe me! May be it’s your computer / server on the blink, or your brain. You may not understand what I mean about Kauto Stone’s going preferences, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone else finding it difficult.
Stop trying to score points Reet, it’s so childish. You come accross as someone who hates seeing anyone successful. Someone who’d love to see everyone else lose money.
I’m trying to give other TRF members the benifit (or otherwise) of my opinion. By putting my tips out there to be shot at. I tipped two horses I believed were value this morning for the Tingle Creek. One at 7/1 now best price 6/1, and the other 5/1 now a best price 4/1. Get over it.

Aye, it would be my computer – strange that yours was afflicted with the same virus, when you posted earlier.

On the contrary, I understand perfectly. Firstly you inform us that the ground won’t make a difference then, when PN says it does, you make out you knew all along.

Not at all, Ginger. I merely pointed out the horse wouldn’t run unless it rained, you then changed your story so it might appear part of your plan anyway.

No, you’re not, You’re trying to show how smart you are, but your devious wheedling clearly indicates that ego is more important tha veracity.

December 2, 2011 at 10:56 #380624Reet,
What I said was:Kauto Stone
… Raced mainly on soft or heavy ground, but action is not of one who usually needs slow ground…
ie Kauto Stone does
not
(in my opinion) have an exaggerated rounded action that often needs "
slow
" (soft or heavy ground) to produce its best.
I would not have any problem
with him running on Saturday on
Good-soft or good ground
. I don’t believe (ie is unlikely but not out of the question) it will be any worse than good come off time given the forecast but…
I then said Quote:
"…if it got firmer
(where Kauto Stone is far from certain to act on it) 7/1 would
not
be a good price and
I would not want him to run anyway
".
Which means: Even with Kauto Stone’s action not being that of one who needs very soft ground… The fact he
hasn’t run on a firm
surface (not proven on it) would obviously mean there would be a
doubt
of him acting on it. Therefore, "
if it got any firmer
" than the official
GOOD
ground, I’d be
happy
to see Kauto Stone
pulled out
on a
FIRM SURFACE
.
It was never "part of the plan" as you put it. But the fact Nicholls will take him out if it gets firm, gives my bet a get out of jail free card.
I hope that is now a good enough explanation for you Reet?
Remind me to put sign language in next time.
