Sorry, other things took more time than I’d expected so didn’t bet today. So to tomorrow:
3:15 Sandown
15 points @ 33/1 (betfair) Le Bacardy* (min 18/1) (£92 available)
14 points @ 29/1 (betfair) Shammick Boy (min 16/1) (£241 available)one saver to come tonight and…
One main bet (judging by exchanges probably pricewise) so hopefully be able to get better than current prices) and one saver bet – to come tomorrow morning.
Saver
17 points @ 9/2 (L) Mr Mole (min 7/2)Main Bet:
25 points @ 12/1 (b365) Pine Creek* (min 8/1)Probably the last bet in this.
Saver:
4 points @ 25/1 (betfair) Barizan (min 22/1) (£118 available)Value Is EverythingMarch 9, 2013 at 08:57 #431766Only on B/F Ginge, and closer to your min. price rather than the 12/1 you suggest
Also Ginge, and anyone else looking in, Racebets.com, possibly Aussie bookie offering to match initial deposit up to £100 for new accounts…..could be handy pre. Cheltenham

Only lasted 5 mins Softie. That’s Pricewise for you.
Got to admire Tom Segal, but he doesn’t half make it difficult to get a good price on a Saturday.Value Is EverythingMarch 9, 2013 at 09:10 #431770Days Deficit

Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2013 at 16:43 #432029My outstanding ante-post bets:
Supreme Novices Hurdle Cheltenham
20 points @ 33/1 (B365) Court Minstrel* (min 22/1)Also probably running in Supreme:
To Win Any Race At The Cheltenham Festival
26 points @ 14/1 (WH) Dodging Bullets*27 points @ 7/4 (VC) My Tent Or Yours (min 13/8)
But doesn’t mean I am going to turn my nose up at 7/4 if I believe it is value. In fact, in my opinion with the Betfair performance MTOY has form good enough to be odds-on come the day.
Arkle Trophy
38 points @ 10/1 (WH) Overturn* (min 7/1)
Champion Hurdle
42 points @ 5/1 (FD) Darlan* (min 9/2)37 points @ 9/2 NRNB (Sky) My Tent Or Yours* (min 4/1)
22 points each way @ 7/1 (C) Grandouet* (min 6/1)
22 points each way @ 6/1 (Boyle nrnb) Rock On Ruby* (min 11/2)
Centenary Novices Handicap Chase
24 points @ 12/1 (WH) Attaglance* (min 9/1)National Hunt Chase
23 points @ 20/1 (Sky) Houblon Des Obeaux* (min 14/1)
RSA Chase
26 points @ 16/1 (WH) Hadrians Approach* (min 12/1)
Champion Chase
12 points each way @ 16/1 (SJ) Sanctuaire* (min 16/1)
Champion Bumper
24 points @ 12/1 (FD) Red Sherlock* (min 9/1)Although won at Ascot, nowhere near as impressive as hoped. Looking a difficult ride. Possibly still very green and although at the time the same price as I got – connections have wisely decided to miss Cheltenham.
Win At 2013 Cheltenham Festival
30 points @ 7/1 (VC) Fingal Bay* (min 13/2)
Ryanair Chase
19 points @ 33/1 (SJ) China Rock* (min 25/1)
21 points @ 10/1 (VC) Sizing Europe* (min 17/2)Stayers (World) Hurdle
8 points @ 33/1 (betfair) Grands Crus (min 25/1)
47 points @ 9/2 (PP) Oscar Whisky* (min 4/1)
County Hurdle
21 points @ 16/1 (Sky) Court Minstrel* (min 13/1)
Albert Bartlett
40 points @ 7/1 (L) At Fishers Cross* (min 6/1)2013 Cheltenham Gold Cup.
31 points @ 8/1 (FD) Long Run* (min 13/2)18 points @ 25/1 (betfair) First Lieutenent* (min 16/1)
11 points @ 33/1 (L) Cape Tribulation (min 22/1)
13 points @ 29/1 (Betfair) Katenko* (min 25/1)
2013 Grand National
18 points @ 33/1 (b365) Cappa Bleu*24 points @ 20/1 (VC) Teaforthree* (min 16/1)
18 points @ 33/1 (FD) Wyck Hill* (min 20/1)
No aftertiming, every bet is on this thread, nothing left out, the good and the bad.Doesn’t look good for most of my ante-post book. Had a lot of bad news in the last few days.

For this thread…Another:
27 points @ 2/1 (Boyle) My Tent Or Yours* (min 6/4)NB:If you haven’t backed anything yet, take no notice of the above and have just one 80 point bet on MTOY @ 2/1.
My 100% book for tomorrow is:
My Tent Or Yours 5/4
(44.25%), Un Atout 15/2 (11.5%), Jezki 15/2 (11.5%), Champagne Fever 13/1 (7.5%), Puffin Billy 13/1 (7.25*), Dodging Bullets 14/1 (6.75%), River Maigue 20/1 (4.75%), Pique Sous 25/1 (3.75%), Cause And Causes 66/1 (1.5%), Cheltenian 80/1 (1.25%), Fire King and Ostentation no price (less than 2000/1).
Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2013 at 20:15 #432073One thing that concerns me about My Tent, Ginge, is his total lack of Cheltenham form, in fact all his runs have been on a flat track with the exception of Ascot, which is still not the same as Cheltenham.
Don`t get me wrong, he may well storm up the hill and cover himself in glory, but the price now would be a concern for me.

It is true MTOY has no Cheltenham form Softie, which is why I make him a 5/4 shot and not odds-on. His form is so much better than the rest. The Betfair Hurdle form would be good enough to win a more than average Supreme Hurdle, therefore around 2/1 is in my opinion an enormous price. Had MTOY gone for the Champion Hurdle I am in no doubt he would’ve been sent off second favourite.
