Nice one on Gwanako Ginge a friend of mine has been following it its entire career and told me to go hard on it but didnt listen to him because hes a bit of a crack junkie these days so don’t really trust him any more

Yes Ben, I can remember Gwanako coming from France and running well at Cheltenham before winning the Topham as a very young horse. Always been a good jumper, nowhere near the quality of horse these days but dropped in grade. Slight danger of not staying the trip today, but stayed 2m5f well that day at Aintree. Every chance he’d stay with age. This was my first bet in an amateur race for ages. Wasn’t going to bother, but it struck me Gwanako was the one of the favoured runners likely to be held up, main rivals need to lead to show their form and with other front runners to take them on; so likely to favour those held up. Shame I was suckered in to a saver bet on the one likely to be dropped out the back and come through late.

I wouldn’t "follow" Gwanako Ben, this was probably his day.

Shame about the 1:50. Winner putting in a rare good round of jumping.
