No I don’t factor in that particular statistic MH, because all horses are not equally proficient in their jumping. I consider whether every horse is good, bad or indifferent jumper and factor it in. It’s even more important over fences, particularly if the obstacles are stiff or difficult). Luckily Timeform is very good in identifying poor jumpers and back very few fallers.

Drift is probably because punters can see there’s a rain band due to go across Newbury after mid-day Ben. If significant it’ll be against the chances of both CC and CM. Both may well be non-runners if it’s soft anyway, so shouldn’t hurt too much. No such problem with Swing Bowler.

That makes sense, lets hope it misses or blows over as I’d rather the ground wasn’t soft as well.
