Anyone heard any scuttlebutt yet as to what exactly George’s problem is. Is he a shy breeder? or "firing blanks" or what?
Have I missed an official explanation of his problem.?
March 21, 2007 at 09:48 #48206George Washington is due to return to Ballydoyle shortly if he has not already….
March 21, 2007 at 10:11 #48208nothing has been confirmed yet, to wether he will return to racing or not…they are awaiting a top fertility guy from the states..and when they know whats going on a announcement will be made.
March 21, 2007 at 10:15 #48209The horse IS back in training in Ballydoyle.
March 21, 2007 at 10:18 #48210Maybe he doesnt much like fillies and wants to get back amongst the colts :o
March 21, 2007 at 10:32 #48211He does like a good flounce…
Racing’s g@y hero!!! Come on Georgey!
March 21, 2007 at 10:48 #48214<br>If that’s the case Aidan, does this mean that we are very likely to see him race again?
If so that’s just great news – Lockinge, Queen Anne, Sussex, QEII & Breeders Cup here we come!!

AP
March 21, 2007 at 11:02 #48217Power to the people eh – We told those chaps at Coolmore we didn’t want to see George retire so they are kind enough to unretire him for us! Who says they don’t listen?
March 21, 2007 at 11:28 #48218There is no doubt about it, horse is back in Ballydoyle and all going well will be back on the racetrack this year. I dunno when it will be confirmed.
March 21, 2007 at 11:56 #48219Can a failed stallion actually run in the Breeders Cup?
Sure; as can geldings (e.g. Funny Cide).
March 21, 2007 at 12:09 #48220Imagine being refered to as "failed stallion"
Hes barmy enough already without having to hear the sniggers and gay slurs…
Not sure i will be backing him in those circumstances
March 21, 2007 at 12:28 #48222lol especially considering the size of his ego clivex.
March 21, 2007 at 14:09 #48223Has GW been confirmed as being medically unable to fullifill the duties of a stallion ?..or is it more down to his immaturity ?
If he performs well as a 4YO..could George’s stud value be enhanced ?
March 21, 2007 at 19:27 #48224hes a jaffa

The infertile can run in the BC.
The Breeders’ Cup concept was brought in to being to put money back into the sport ; money from the vast profits breeders were making at the time ; the breeder’s conscience saying thanks .

March 21, 2007 at 20:33 #48226He is still an entire, as far as I know they plan to race him this year (he is already back in Ballydoyle since last week and in training) and see what happens next year regarding fertility etc. I would imagine even if they found the problem and could treat it now he would be too late to cover for this season.
