A couple of suggestions for consideration for tonight
Ireland Women v England Women – England +2.5 Goals
Pilgrims v Hoops BTTS
5/2 + Double Chance
England / Sweden game looked far short of last year’s World Cup match standard but Lioness’s did have a purple patch. Would be surprised if they they don’t put two or three away in any purple patch tonight. Feisty Irish performance v the French but fatigue may tell tonight on a deadish pitch. 2 first half goals might be a good alternative to the 3 English ones for a slightly better return.
Home Park match features two teams that have a lot to play for so it may well produce goals
Shortlist Double
Millwall v Leicester BTTS
Saints Win v ‘Try Blues
9/4 + Double Chance
Millwall more terriers than lions should snatch a goal on their home patch. Momentum is with the Saints who I reckon are most likely to join Leicester and Leeds in the PL next year

April 10, 2024 at 19:21 #1689559Very trappy in the Championship tonight so worthy of only a fun treble
Tigers Win v Boro
Ipswich v Watford Over 2.5 Goals
Swansea v Stoke. Under 3.5 Goals7/2 + Treble Chance
Tigers must be properly motivated to win tonight to remain focused on a play-off place. Potters don’t look like the kind of incisive crew most likely to expose Swans rather stately defence so the hosts should have more opportunity to express themselves in attack and score their usual goal!
April 13, 2024 at 12:26 #1690200Little interest plays In the early matches – not that anyone is watching football today!
Newcastle Win Bookings
Leeds v Blackburn over 2.5 Cards2/1 + Double Chance
Newcastle v Spurs Under 4.5 Cards
Leeds v Blackburn Over 1.5 Leeds Goals13/8 Double Chance
April 13, 2024 at 14:55 #1690248Championship form clearly gone haywire!
Let’s settle then for a humble attempt at a 15/8 X Sport Double bet for this busy afternoon
Burnley v Brighton BTTS
Ireland v Wales Woomens Six Nations
2nd Half Higher Scoring HalfApril 14, 2024 at 13:25 #1690483Hitting the bar too much recently and with the other sporting distractions yesterday missed out on a fancied Saints-Lions Double in the Championship 😥
I’d expect the Hammers slick enterprise to to outshine the Cottagers solid industry shortly. How the Toffees have managed to even thread water at the bottom of the PL in recent months is a mystery with their incoherent and disjointed performances. A basic athletic finesse seems to go a long way but would be surprised if Chelsea superior physicality does not expose their shortcomings tomorrow night, 3-1, 4-1 possibly is my guess 😥
Hammers Win v Cottagers
Chelsea Win v Toffees3/1+ Double Chance
April 15, 2024 at 19:46 #1690655Double down so looked at Corner options for my “Coin Toss” so a little reappraisal!
Chelsea have Citeh in the Cup Semi on Saturday and Toffees have several fellow bottom-feeder opposition in the weeks ahead to decide their fate so should settle for a 1 goal defeat tonight to stay well clear of Forest on GD. Therefore it may not be an action packed 90 minutes tonight!
Interest bet
Under 10.5 Corners 10/11Positive line up from Everton tonight. Hope Garner and McNeil can link up well and Onana is up for the grind!
April 16, 2024 at 19:47 #1690776Drat! Came to the same conclusion as RP Over 3.5 for Saints v PNE
Saints – 2 probably best value if you can get a good exchange price and have patience
PNE seem to be a team pretty much in Canary mould, seem to have picked up a lot of away points against some sloppy defending and may not be quite as good as league position suggests. They have four tricky matches left and could conceivably end up yet just inside the bottom half of table at end of season. Losing at home to Stoke in March not a good omen for tonight.
They do attack wide a lot and will surely try to draw corners to maximise height advantages. So another little interest bet to try to get last nights few bob back
PNE 4 Corners 1/1
(Overestimated the common sense of the managers last night! Fair play to Carragher for drawing attention to Onana – not sticky enough like a few others for the Toffees!)
April 20, 2024 at 12:24 #1691198Fox & Baggies tie too close to call. Foxes too short.
Prefer BTTS @ Under 3.5 @ 2/1 + as an interest bet to 10.5 + Corners 10/11 as a purely interest bet.
April 20, 2024 at 13:55 #1691233Great Championship game. Good to see the Circus back for the Summer season!
Matinee X Sport 2/1 + Treble Chance
Saints Win at Cardiff
Ireland Women -48 H/c Win v England 6 Nations 2.15pm
Citeh Qualify v Chelsea Penalty-Takers
England changes might indicate they may be more interested in prepping for French game than maximising points. Ireland need to game manage the 2nd half!
April 21, 2024 at 12:18 #169136688-10 just isn’t cricket. It’s not even sport, professional sport anyway 😥
Let’s have another crack
Rovers 2 Home goals v Owls
Utd 2 Goals v ‘Try Blues in Cup
France – 19 H/c Win V Wales Womens 6 Nationsw DVD w
3/1 +Treble Chance
( 2/1 Football Double )
You would think French backs will want to practice all their moves for England game. How bad were Wales then in that Ireland game!
April 21, 2024 at 12:59 #1691369Not sure the bookies are factoring over 5 mins of 1st half injury team. Rovers looking more likely for the 3rd before HT
April 22, 2024 at 17:32 #1691483Just a bit puzzled at what looks like a bit of a gamble on Leeds 5/6 into 3/4 for match at Boro tonight – must be some team news! With their contrasting recent form I’d have thought Boro and Under 3.5 (11/2) would be a decent value bet. Best give this one a miss. The way they were playing a couple a months ago I thought they looked more likely than Leicester to mix it and survive in the PL next year but recent match results would give one no incentive to back them.
April 23, 2024 at 19:32 #1691583100/30 Double Chance
Arsenal Win v Chelsea
Leicester -1 H/c Win v Saints
Chelsea must be knackered after recent exertions but since it’s a derby I’ll play it a little safer than usual.
Foxes passed their stiff WBA exams with flying colours. Should be able to exploit Saints attacking game and should be interested in an insurance goal tonight of all nights.
GL
April 23, 2024 at 23:54 #1691601Not sure Frank Worthington would have have approved of Leicester ever playing in the Italian mode! Need a break until Saturday after watching that first hour of torture!
Looking forward to seeing Wayne tomorrow night on Sky cheering on the Blues
April 26, 2024 at 19:53 #1691834Fancy Red Roses tomorrow to take care of the French Ladies in the Ladies 6 Nations as from I’ve seen if the matches they look the more complete 15 and the French look a bit Sevensish
Unknowns
How England will cope with partisan French crowd
France may have held something significant in reserve for this match
England -9 H/c Win v France Six Nations @ 5/6 3pt – nothing mad though!
Hoops v Peacocks tonight
Loftus Rd is like London’s football version of the Globe Theatre from what I see of it on TV so it’s an intensive and intimidating place when Rangers are on song.
Post is tipping Hoops/Draw Double Result @ 13/10
I’ll try and better that
BTTS & Over 2.5 @ 2/1. 1pt
Guessing 2-1 or 3-1 either way
GL!
April 27, 2024 at 11:36 #1691928Other Womens 6 Nations matches
Italy – 5 H/c Win in Wales
Scotland -7 H/c Win in Ireland
11/4 + Double Chance – 1/2 pt only
IRL-Scot May hinge on performance of pivotal Ireland Out-half position – bit concerned her rugby brain doesn’t quite match her kicking style!
Two Value 3/1 Footie Double Chances 1pt to consider
Saints Win v Potters
Toffees Win v Bees
Saints need to bounce back after Fox hiding – Toffees must carry forward derby intensity this evening to suffocate the Bees!
Alternatively,
Canaries Win v Swans
Baggies Win at the Owls
GL!
April 29, 2024 at 19:54 #1692274Better to leave the Championship alone until Play-off Final with all the change of form in top six and meaninglessness of final rounds for some teams
Just a “Coin-toss” for tonight/tomorrow
5/4 + Double Chance
PNE v Foxes Under 1.5 in 1st Half
‘Try Blues v Ipswich BTTSFoxes priority in recent months seems to have been to protect assets for sale or for next year. Can’t see them breaking too much of a sweat tonight
Coventry and Ipswich should be able to hurt each other
GL!
