Looks a hot race but I was always intending to back The Yellow Clay should he run in this.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 12, 2025 at 13:07 #1723038I’m predicting Final Demand to be the most impressive novice hurdler of the week and The New Lion to be a hype horse.
My picks :
Final demand to win by over 4L at 4/1
Sixmilebridge w/o 2 favs at 6/1I really wanted The Yellow Clay to run on Friday as had him at large odds for that.

Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2025 at 13:29 #1723048Really good race, the ‘right’ horses came to the fore which gives the form some credibility. Will be interested to see where they all go next season.
March 12, 2025 at 13:30 #1723049Ta Green. Was my nap of the week just thought he’d be too pacey for these.

Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2025 at 13:38 #1723053Well done winners. A very good race indeed with no hard-luck stories. Just wondering how much Yates got for him in return.

Bit of a race that one
March 12, 2025 at 14:29 #1723085He a really proper horse and maybe the one that finally puts Skelton at the top table , I’ll be honest I thought he won a bit snug
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 12, 2025 at 14:32 #1723088He might’ve won a bit further had the runner up not carried him across.
March 13, 2025 at 12:23 #1723378“Thought he was going to fall at the last.”
I thought so too. He was lucky to get away with it but he might not have won without such a quick, low jump and landing running.
It shows the fine margins in this game. Skelton has been rightly praised for a good confident ride – but he was millimetres away from falling and from a mauling on social media.
