Thanks Hein, by all accounts Earthlight sprained a fetlock and needs a couple of days off

Disappointed no Earthlight but then I wouldn’t like to see either horse get beaten and lose their perfect race record it seems common sense to find another race for Earthlight.

Good luck Nick I will be cheering Victor home and be having my first bet since lockdown :good: oh apart from the 9/2 I took from PP for Pinatubo to remain unbeaten in the 2020 season (min 3 runs) it was a £10 free bet so again nothing to lose.. :good: :good: Hein and I will have to wait a little longer for Earthlight to shine. :rose: Jac

    Hein,
I think both Victor Ludorum and Earthlight were both very, very good last season
Earthlight edged it for me of the two although I’d say I’m not sure if he gets a mile or if he does will he be most effective over it, for me he looks more of a sprinter/7f horse whereas I’d be having Victor Ludorum over the mile ahead of him at this stage.

I decided not to bother betting today and just watch

The results so far have left me satisfied with that decision

    Some funny races

Well done everyone on Tropbeau. I have my 50p ew on Syrtis in the next, hoping that the trip should suit a son of Frankel and he’s had a pipeopener :good:

Does anyone know how to find the reasons for NRs and also the stewards reports on previous races- I can’t find them on France Galop website. Also, do they have do declare tongue ties and wind ops and where do you find those?

A typical early season trials meeting! Big priced winners, short priced losers disappointing. French love their trials so i wouldn’t be giving up on either of the obvious losers.

I’m of no help here GAG- find the site a little tricky to navigate myself. I’m sure someone on twitter might know?

Greengrass had a message back from them they say that NR’s are just notified by a vet cert which they do not publish.
On the inquiry’s if you get the result up and there has been an inquiry click on the little binocular tab, usually near the top left, the only problem its in french and I don’t know how to translate it. Sorry mate that’s the best I can do.lol

Thanks that’s helpful. A couple of horses I was looking at had poor runs for no apparent reason so I will have a look.
