Well fancied to maintain her unbeaten record in a very strong-looking Prix Vermeille (2400m) at Longchamp in September, but she sat too far off the pace and didn’t have quite enough finishing kick in that G1, though only 1 ¼ lengths third behind classy older filly Midday.Victoire Pisa
This classy Japanese raider has won four of his six starts including a major Grade 1 success at Nakayama over 2000m back in April. Having his first run since May, he appeared in the Prix Niel at Longchamp in September and was beaten over 8 lengths into fourth by possible Arc favourite Behkabad. He’s going to improve on the big day, but that improvement is going to need to be considerable.
