    It’s a bit grim that they spent two years and a shed load of cash at Parislongchamp and then had to switch to the other course after an issue with the intended course.

    Wind Chimes was only beaten a short neck and a head in the end. That’s annoying when you were on at 14/1.

    I’ve watched the 1000 G a couple of times again. In another half furlong I reckon it would have been a Wind Chimes/Musis Amica 1-2 for Fabre.

    At the 2 pole Wind Chimes is simply too far back and the jockey has let a Classic slip through his fingers by poor judgement.

    As someone once said to me “If a French jockey had a brain, he’d be a Pomme De Terre”
