This is brilliant Jac. Great work! I have spotted 2 tiny errors – Toulifaut finished 8th not 4th lto and Frankuus’ 5th race was the Ascendant Stakes not a maiden.
You are right he has exceeded everyones expectations apart from our own. Yet another lovely looking colt today!!!

October 21, 2016 at 21:04 #1268037Thanks Joni that’s what I needed someone to cast an experienced eye over the chart and will put that right straight away.
Hasn’t he done well though I think it is 16 who have won first time out including Mi Suerte and Soul Stirring both winners in Japan and I still can’t decide who is going to shine in the Classics next season as lots more still to make an appearance so hoping maybe the Craven Meeting next April will bring some of them out..really hope so.
Eminent is the one that I have chosen to follow (possibly because I have seen him in the flesh and actually looked me in the eye as he walked by (it was spooky LOL even his handler noticed) but also noted you said Cracksman had a lot of filling out to do so he could be special next year too.Have really enjoyed following the Frankel babes through their first season, we kept the faith and were duly rewarded. It has taken a fair bit of time to keep this going especially with holidays in between but Nathan’s help and your own have been really appreciated. At least this is something to dip in and out off during the course of the year and I am going to make the chart a little tidier and add the distances etc when the jumps are up and running and I have more time like yourself.
Hope you had a good day at Newbury Joni and backed a few winners. What you said about the viruses at Newmarket was really interesting about them going away and coming back again, it is definitely the reason that horses have been so hit and miss this year and we are lucky to have come out of it with a profit.
I’m not sure whether to wind this thread up at the end of the season or keep it going and follow them into their 3rd year to see how many can become Group and Classic Winners…I might possibly like to keep it just as a reference of Frankel’s first season as we will, of course, be following and talking about them on your thread.
I may not start another thread on the new Frankel 2yo’s to come next season, will just follow them on your Why Frankel Will Rule The World thread and then I can try to concentrate on some of the other 2yo’s that are taking them on. I just love watching the 2yo’s develop and am hoping that Frankel’s second crop will turn out better than his first. But then again I could change my mind once they all start coming out LOL
Look forward to your end of season round up on your Frankel thread.
Definitely going to book a return visit to Juddmonte Stud next year to see how our boy is getting on
What a legacy he is giving us it’s been a lot of fun and more to come after a well earned rest.

As he was a non runner Ben I guess he is very sweet as in good prospect for running well in Group Company and possibly the Derby later in year.
Guess he might turn out at the Craven Meeting at Newmarket next April now so have to wait and see.

FRANKUUS and his half brother CUNCO both failed to gain a place at St. Cloud on Sunday

We are still in profit for the season though and Frankel has exceeded ALL expectations with his progeny in their first year on a racecourse.

I’ve seen and noted your horses Darren and I’m going to look at all of them next week when things are a little quieter and I’ll try to put up one or two that I am following also. Good luck I’m missing the flat already but lots of time to study up for the next season.
The one horse that I really want to improve and grow over the season is EMINENT and I will be watching him with interest. Just the one run at Newmarket which I was there to see and I saw him in the pre-parade where he looked like work in progress and he won his maiden in style.
Looking forward to seeing how he turns out next season…Jac

The form of the race has turned out quite well so hoping she can progress and win this one.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 12, 2016 at 21:56 #1272361HARBA was hampered by a fatally wounded filly falling today at Wolverhampton …so sad for Exceedingly Sweet just 2 years old on her racecourse debut :(. Harba was going well and making ground at the time and hope she takes her time to get over the bad experience.
Sadly that’s racing and all thoughts with the Richard Fahey yard for the loss of their filly.+£69.08

I think it’s possible Nathan especially if these EBF (Plus 10) Maiden races continue through the winter.
£10,000 boost to the prize money is worth turning up for and Gosden has one that I would love to see ERDOGAN along with Hugo Palmer’s TZAVO
