Decided to have a £10 win bet on all of Frankel’s progeny that run this year.
Anything over 8/1 (some hopes) will be £5 each way.

So it kicks off today with:

    Friday 13th May – Newbury 2.00 – Class 4 Maiden – Going Soft
CUNCO 6/4 Paddy Power (Best price guaranteed)
    £10 win

Frankel won his first Maiden on soft going beating Nathaniel so ground shouldn’t be a problem.

Great idea Jac!!! Best of luck with it. Your only danger is when they race each other!!

Ha ha good thinking…didn’t think about that one Joni. Oh well cross that bridge when I come to it.

It’s just their first season so hopefully plenty of races for them to run free without bumping into each other so to speak, it’s going to be an interesting trial and hopefully at the end of the season we will see who emerges as Classic potential for 2017 and also if ‘The Babes’ have made us a profit or not.

How lucky that Channel 4 were at Newbury today and filmed the occasion now I can watch it on tape over and over.
Enjoy your day tomorrow and back lots of winners..Jac :good:

Thanks Nathan..I’m probably going to eat into that profit quite badly but it’s nice to start on a high note.
Enjoy your day tomorrow and get lots of pics. I’m waiting to see if the ground drys out enough for Limato to run I think he’s been specially aimed at this race but Toormore has improved so much as a 4yo it’s a tough decision. Jac

MAJORIS 6th yesterday but ran a good race considering he could have been started off in a maiden and ran against some top upcoming 2yo’s in Dream of Dreams, Waqaas and Spiritous.
Eventually drifted in the market (7/1 in places) and will definitely come on for this race.

    RESULT:
    1 Dream Of Dreams 2/1F
    2 Waqaas 9/1
    3 Spiritous 5/2
    14 ran Distances: ½l, 1½l, 2¾l
    TIME 1m 13.23s (slow by 2.23s)
    Jockey: Jamie Spencer
    Trainer: Kevin Ryan

    …..6th Place
    MAJORIS
Dwelt, in rear, headway over 2f out, stayed on final furlong

Thanks to Cunco still in profit after 2 x runners:-

    Frankel Follow Ups:-

Watch out for OCEANUS today 1.45 Chester
3rd to Cunco at Newbury 13th May
The 4th horse in that race Barrington flew home
by 6 lengths at Windsor on Monday.

Oceanus is out of the same family as Shalaa (they have the
same 2nd Dam) and is well thought of at the Dunlop yard.

Oceanus could only finish 6th today in a race won by 20/1 shot.
His Sire Born To Sea only won one race in Ireland and that was on Yielding/Soft
so maybe this fella wants more give in the ground like his last race.
He must be better than todays race and Chester is tricky for 2yo’s.

QUEEN KINDLY 4/5 Paddy Power (Best price guaranteed)
    £10 win

Filly out of Lady Of The Desert (Rahy)

Normally would have been attracted by Johnston’s Katebird at 3/1 in this but not for this thread as it belongs to Frankel and his progeny.

Good luck to Queen Kindly can she be Frankel’s first filly winner of the season? :good: Jac

    Tuesday 7th June – Haydock 2.40 – Novice Fillies Stakes (Cl.5)
    Going: Good/Firm
FAIR EVA11/8 Paddy Power (Best price guaranteed)
    £10 win

Too late to get the 13/8 originally offered.

Prince Khalid Abdullah’s first filly runner in his colours, she has to win this.
Ryan Moore booked (would have preferred Atzeni).

Frankel’s 4th runner this year 2 x winners so far, can she make it 3.
Good luck Fair Eva :rose: Jac

This will be the first grey sired by Frankel to run.
One or two pretty good 2yo’s turning out for this and some with previous runs under their belts.
Wondering if Frankuus will try to make all :rose:
