There is a very clear difference between a thread on betting and one entitled ‘Free Princess Latifa’.
On banning, I’d be in favour of a sin bin with the length of ban dependant on the issue
It’s my impression of Potato based on how he writes that he couldn’t give a toss about being banned from this forum. He’s probably on another forum right now, or spouting off in his local bookies to some punter trying to study the form in the local Sporting Life pinned to the wall.
It’s also my impression based on the way he writes that he’s schizophrenic and could be a real life “Norman Bates ” but I might just have an overactive imagination. What does the team says

I thought the initial title of the thread was something along the lines of “Free Princess Latifa : Hope Pinatubo Loses”. This I think was changed by a moderator (GT can probably tell us unless he has now left the site for good). Therefore a thread on horse racing.

TRFers can judge for themselves if the thread had something to do with both betting and Horse Racing.As I said in the thread originally entitled “Hope Pinatubo loses today – Free Princess Latifa”.

There surely needs to be maximum pressure put on Sheik Mo’ to free these women. If seeing even the people within this beautiful sport he enjoys so much are turning against him (and even better is asked a difficult question) then it adds to pressure and therefore more inclined to release them. Unfortunately the message he’ll get from Saturday will be the exact opposite!
Put yourself in the position of the victims here – how would you feel if the people of HORSE RACING did not speak out?
This thread should’ve been all about what HORSE RACING should do (and not do) to increase the chances of freeing the princesses.As for Matron changing the thread title – didn’t need much convincing did he. imo Obvious all about deleting HORSE RACING from the subject in order to try and justify moving it. Brushing even further under the carpet.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Ginge, As I said, I could see where you were coming from with the original topic but I disagree with you on where it should go. That is the end of the matter so can you let it go.
The new thread has some differences, although I notice you are dragging it away from a discussion on horse racing (and its approach to regulating or ‘welcoming owners’) into a topic discussing the morality or otherwise of a particular owner so I am following and reviewing it closely. Discuss the general issue but, for what should be obvious reasons, I can’t allow a naive discussion relating to the actions of an individual around which I (nor you) do not know the full and correct facts.
