It would take a brave man to have a horse with David Flood imo.
In less than 2 years David trained 35 winners in the UK and Ireland alone. 105 of his runners (33.9%) finished in the first 4. In Dubai 50% of his 14 runners finished in the prize money, which totalled د236,440.
Highlights of his career so far have included Jonny Ebeneezer, purchased for just £6,000, who won more races in 2004 on grass than any other racehorse in Britain; Im Spartacus, purchased for £25,000, placed at Group level and won the Group 3 Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh racecourse in 2005.
Whether David did it or not, it cannot change the fact that the guy is talented. His record speaks for itself.
He’s not the only one, Rory. This kind of stuff goes on all the time, but when certain individuals are involved it’s ignored. Then there are people like David…
He’ll bounce back and shut a lot of people up, believe me.

With all due respect Bosranic, Flood achieved impressive results by doping his horses. Why does that make him talented?

Hi, Rory
David served his suspension due the ‘intravenous injection’ of just one horse, Mossman George.
It’s harsh to presume that all of his runners were under the same influence. I understand that it’s human nature to suspect and proceed with a degree of apprehension – a leopard never changes its spots, once a cheat, always a…..and so on.I don’t know if he did or he didn’t, only David is in possession of the truth. Personally, I’ve always believed in second chances and I have no qualms whatsoever about having a small ‘hobby’ investment in a horse with him at the helm.
June 15, 2008 at 18:55 #168461She runs tomorrow at Doncaster. It’ll be a quiet introduction so we’re just looking to see her settle and travel.
Did’nt manage to see any racing action today, how did it go?

Jockey executed instructions to perfection. Formbook reads ‘slowly away never a factor’. The details were: she left the stalls a good two seconds after the rest of the field; was anchored in the last couple; and then given a bit of education about the game up the straight before blowing up and being eased. The trainer was pleased with the way she came through it all and we just need to find her a couple of similar events to get her handicapped and then we can have a bit of fun with her.

I would be intrested in a forum horse. Any ideas as to how much a year we would be looking at?
Thanks
July 25, 2008 at 13:24 #174778Thankfully has her second run on Sunday at Pontefract. Unfortunately, she has had a couple of slight niggles since her first run so she won’t be any fitter than when she made her debut. It’ll be a chance to continue her education though.
August 10, 2008 at 18:43 #176649in germany, the http://www.galopp-forum.de has had a racehorse.
the built up till the purchase was quiet exciting and the horse , after all, won two races, for their members.
it all came to an end as the selfelected manageress of the
" forum-galopper" went bonkers, didn´t pay the bills, and has never been seen since.
i am shure that some of the former members will report about the whole affair.August 13, 2008 at 23:14 #176944It would take a brave man to have a horse with David Flood imo.
It would now take a certified nutter to consider giving a horse to David Flood after he suddenly relinquished his recently reacquired licence. Flood claims he was uncomfortable working with the owners of his yard, Results Racing. Strangely, RR say they fired him over several incidences of gross misconduct. In my opinion, he probably needs locking up in a psychiatric unit. The man is utterly unstable ~ pun intended.

People should learn to keep quiet unless they know the whole story.
Unstable (pun). Really? News to me…I could bump into him the next time I visit It Must Be Love.
