How do you train a horse?
Very interesting question – how do you start?
Any trainers on here like to give us an insight of how, when a young horse arrives at the stable, the process involved thereon?
I am glad you all had a good day out.

I reckon your young lad asked the best question of Lucinda Russell, "How do you train a racehorse?". An obvious question perhaps, but not one a lot of us would know the answer to!

There’s plenty of licence holders that wouldn’t have a clue either.

I did ask exactly that question a while back when I was new on here, but never really got a satisfactory answer. What do you do with one horse that’s different to what you do with another, and how do you decide what’s best for that horse? How do you start? It IS a good question!
