Only just found this DG and thank you for posting the link to that lovely picture of ‘my girl’ it brought back lots of memories of my favourite mare of all time. So nice to see all the comments and read how people still remember her achievements.
She could certainly hold her own with the colts and won,amongst a host of other valuable races, an Irish 1000 and 2000 Guineas,numerous Group 1’s and 2 x Dubai Champion Stakes at Newmarket.. oh how I wish I had been a Member then and seen her in the flesh.
Sadly she never became a mother having her life sadly taken in a freak accident at stud while in foal to Mr Prospector. Her death and the loss of her foal,still fills me with great sadness but I love to watch her old races just to see little Miss Fiesty dish it out to the colts.
Choosing her name for my posts on TRF is my way of keeping her name alive. I will never forget her and thank you DiamondG for the link.
