2 cracking late goals (though compared to the ones he used to score for us, evo’s can only be described as ‘close range’;) ) and a celebratory steak and guiness sausage or four down the portobello road, is there any better way to spend a sunday afternoon?

November 7, 2004 at 05:24 #54640quite right snowman, i cant have any complaints.<br>the profits havent been quite what i was hoping for, but then the number of selections has been down about 30% this year. (making up for that today though:) )
Man Utd to beat Man City (4/9, ladbrokes) rated 4 pts
Middlesbrough to beat Bolton (10/11, ladbrokes) rated 3 pts
Newcastle to beat Fulham (4/7, ladbrokes) rated 4 pts
Huddersfield to DRAW with Brentford (11/5, ladbrokes) rated 3pts
as i said at the start, november usually signals the start of the slump. now, i have had a tinker with the selection system, but as im not really sure why this happens i cant be certain that any changes i have made have helped. this is the main reason i started using the ratings, to maximise profits on maximum confidence bets. i suppose it may make more sense just to tip the 3, 4, and 5 rated selections, but maybe thats something to think about for next season. in the meantime, i will continue to list all selections, but personally i will only be backing the higher rated ones, and to much smaller stakes.
anyway, places to go, people to see…
November 8, 2004 at 17:24 #54641Leicester to beat Coventry (5/6 hills) rated 3 pts
November 21, 2004 at 10:45 #54642Sunderland to beat Ipswich (13/10, Hills) 3 points
Millwall to beat West Ham (11/8) 2 points
apologies for the lack of updates, ill be sorting out the running totals after todays games.
