Bye Bye Jumps In my Eyes anyway… Hello FLAT! Can not wait this time next week!!
What are you looking Forward to the most?
March 16, 2018 at 23:04 #1347213The cancellation of the entire Flat season due to its tedium lol
March 17, 2018 at 00:58 #1347247Can’t wait! Return of 48-hour decs, good ground (hopefully!), and won’t have to put up with talk of Cheltenham for at least a few months.
March 17, 2018 at 12:32 #1347321The sunshine

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 17, 2018 at 12:48 #1347324Cracksman winning King George , September running over longer distances and which OBrien horse is doing things that no other horse as been on the gallops before
March 17, 2018 at 13:10 #1347328Cartmel and Perth in July and August are the highlights for me
March 17, 2018 at 16:21 #1347362There’s something about the Chester meeting that I just love, will have to go one day I think
March 17, 2018 at 16:40 #1347363TWM, courtesy of RUK Extra we can now watch uninterrupted coverage of Market Rasen on Oaks day :)
March 17, 2018 at 17:10 #1347366Mine is how Godolphin do this season with there Galileo progeny i think it could be the start of the rise of Godolphin plus all the classics and the massive puzzle Handicaps without the worry of them clipping the top bar and fading tamely
March 17, 2018 at 18:56 #1347377Seeing the first 4YO progeny Of both Nathaniel & Frankel something i’m very much looking forward to.
Think they’ll age like a fine wine, especially if the Frankels mature and calm down.
March 18, 2018 at 10:20 #1347434The Craven Meeting really kicks off the flat season for me, I can’t wait to be there seeing all the new 2yo’s taking their first steps onto a racecourse and most of all looking forward to all the new progeny of Frankel making their debut. Newmarket is where a lot of our top Group horses make their racecourse appearance before becoming famous and you get the chance to see them develop from the very beginning. Last year Roaring Lion was a big standout along with the Frankel/Attraction colt Elaquam and this year looking forward to seeing them both give AOB a run for his money and take giant steps to winning either the 2000 Guineas or the Derby (or both)

Love everything about the flat season, can’t wait for it all to kick off at Donny next Saturday.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 26, 2018 at 10:49 #1348128I am looking forward to seeing Galileos in the royal blue. Not because i am a godolphin fan necessarily, just to see if they get any success from them.
Especially with a master in JG training them.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 26, 2018 at 12:07 #1348137Four flights of hurdles in the 2000 Guineas would bring in the crowds :)
March 26, 2018 at 17:04 #1348165Could you imagine if Frankel had done a Barton Bank?
March 26, 2018 at 22:04 #1348184Could you imagine if Frankel had done a Barton Bank? 😥
Remounted and still won 10 lengths!

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
March 27, 2018 at 16:45 #1348239September winning the Oaks on the snaff by 9 lengths doing cartwheels.
April 17, 2018 at 08:25 #1350831At last, proper flat turf racing starting today with the Craven meeting at Newmarket, you know it has started, Frankie Dettori has got out of bed and has some booked rides.
I been trying to put together a set of speed figures for the 2018 flat turf, it has not been easy due to the continuous very heavy going conditions in Ireland, especially at Cork where the meeting on the 15th April 2018 went off the scale at -3.15s/f (quagmire), the two worse going allowances I have ever recorded both came from Cork…
