Clive its not from one post…its from all your posts on the matter. Everyone else must be thick on the forum as the majority I am sure think you believe he is guilty.
November 8, 2006 at 12:56 #30342Im getting abit bored with this but will explain once more
I suspect the case is a strong one because (as Wit has demonstrated) of the way that this case has been put togther at a relatively high level. Thats just a judgement call which may or may not be right. Rather like weighing up an unknown before a race of course
But not once have i SAID he was guilty. That would be ridiculous and quite frankly I have no idea when dealing with whatever these specific charges are
Very unfortunate that the ban had to be effected and I have mixed feelings about that although on balance i think it is just about the right thing to do
If not guilty I believe his career will quickly be back on track
No more to say until next year if only to avoid having tos hare same thread as JJ
November 8, 2006 at 13:03 #30343Clive,
If you are so bored with the subject why raise it as a topic? Hope to hear from you soon!

November 8, 2006 at 13:07 #30344I think most people would rather share a thread with JJD than you, tbh
And your response above is typical; snide comments followed by a "I never said that" routine. All too familiar now. And it seems like I’m far from the only one tiring of it.
November 8, 2006 at 13:16 #30345I was trying to avoid saying anything but if you think that this comment is snide

then you have a problem frankly…

November 10, 2006 at 22:31 #30346In my opinion he will retire next spring as his application for no case to answer is likely to fail. These applications have a very low sucess rate. What Judge is going to stand up and be counted and say the evidence should not go before a jury. This is a very high profile case and the Judge will kick to touch otherwise he is making a statement that the CPS have made a major cock up. Odds on the application next spring succeeding 1000/1
So that means he goes to trial next Autumn but my guess is it will be 2008 before trial. and a verdict by Goodwood 2008. Who is the next ballydoyle jockey?
By the way I am not saying anyone is guilty or not just stating the likely timescale.
I guess if the jockeys are acquitted their careers will be over as a lot of dirt will come out at the trial.
November 29, 2006 at 16:44 #499Fallon Fails Drug Test
Wonder if he was exposed to a nasal spray that exploded in his barn.
November 29, 2006 at 16:45 #32294Oh dear…it starts the 7th and ends around May time.

November 29, 2006 at 17:01 #32295His finger seems to be permenantly hovering over the self destruct button… Its sad in many ways
November 29, 2006 at 17:05 #32296This week he’s also been refused a licence to ride in Hong Kong because of the criminal case pending in the UK- perhaps he was intending to go there with his pal John Egan.
November 29, 2006 at 17:17 #32297Mr Fallon’s position is looking more and more precarious as time passes. So, that is the UK, Fra, HK and the US. He would be advised to keep clear of trouble in Ireland, or he will have nothing to ride outside of SA.
While this French ban sounds harsh, things are starting to add up. There are only so many excuses, ya know?
November 29, 2006 at 17:25 #32298I’m not really a fan of seeing sportspeople banned for taking non-performance-enhancing drugs (assuming that’s what it was in this case, but I don’t know). I’d much rather see them made to go through some kind of mandatory rehab. That said, everyone knows the rules and there’s no excuse for it. I hate to think where all this might lead…
November 29, 2006 at 17:35 #32299Fallon should be passed over to the Star Chamber and tortured for his mis-deeds, his broken body should then be displayed around the country, to serve as a lesson to all those who have a mind to upset the racing establishment .. ffs !
Anyone caught setting fire to detention centres should be given a council house and car immediately, unless they are white and then they should be Falloned.

I tend to agree
Frankly I wouldnt even worry about rehab if its clearly just a bit here and there, so long as they dont get all Pete Docherty about it…showing off etc
Is a joint worse than drink driving say? Of course not.

The quantity of metabolite found was described as "exceedingly low” by expert witness, Dr Michael Lewis, "… as to admit that the possibility that the test result arose solely as a consequence of environmental contact”.
Can anyone throw any more light on the above statement, it all seems very borderline for such a stiff ban?

.. vindictive smallmindedness ?
.. power tripping ?
.. fashionable to bully Fallon ?
I don’t think any of this would be happening if he was a charismatic as Frankie.
