I enjoy the away meetings during Cheltenham week. It was a pity Hexham was off yesterday but at least I did not go there after considering it the night before!
Looking forward to watching Fakenham today. A really nice track and some of the racing looks quite competitive today.
The 4 mile chase is always good at Hexham so a shame it was off.
Good to see a couple of double figure fields at Fakenham. Not very common.
The racing was good fun but if you want to see an example of how not to ride watch the 4/5 favourite in the last race. Jockey sat last of five throughout, never put the horse in the race and eventually finished fourth. The closest he ever was to the front was on the line. Thank goodness I seldom bet on Hunter Chases!
