These EW doubles are going very well indeed, proving that such bets are probably as good a system to follow as anyone could hope for in view of today’s tighter margins.
I know you have to do a bit of work to keep an eye on the markets, but you shouldn’t have much difficulty getting on for reasonable stakes since you are backing doubles.
You don’t see many bets these days where the punter gets a slight edge without wading through the form book and opening multiple betting accounts to forage for scraps of value.
I cannot see any reason why the bank will not continue to grow steadily.
Well done, indeed.April 4, 2008 at 09:10 #155727Artemis,
I take no credit for these.
It is nothing new.It is something bookmakers have no control over as the markets are formed from betfair and from the race tracks. The beauty is both these sources do not include ew betting so it is totally governed by the overall rules ie 5th odds for the sec fav to win or get placed.
However you will get barred from doing them just with one bookmaker all the time as all bookmakers know that overall they cannot win.
Doing these has caused more bans that anything else.
Ladbrokes .com limited me to £5.00 max solely from doing these with them. I used to have a ‘pop up’ informing me this when I went on line with them! You need to go to the next step and that is to for all intents and purposes to have single ew bets.

For example £50.ew with bookie 1 then calculate any winnings and place the winnings and another £50.00 ew on the next sec fav in 8 runners races as for example £83.00 ew with bookie no 2.
So to those who monitor accounts at on line bookmakers you are only doing single ew bets.
Carry on like this and you can get on most of the time.
On Day 2 start with bookie no 3.
You need around 10 on line firms.
Drawback is you need to watch the live markets closely otherwise if you do these before going to work some days they have market moves and no one can predict what horse may start fav or indeed sec fav.
I leave these races alone when they have joint or co 1st favs and joint or co 2nd favs.
That website I previously listed works out any bets and informs you what the next stake should be. I have that listed in my favs for quick reference.
pm me for any further details but i.m.h.o it is far the best system bet ever devised. Bookmakers have no control over it unless they reduce the precentages.

April 5, 2008 at 08:09 #156049I thought it might be hard work, ducking and diving a bit to keep ahead of the ‘knock-back’.
Many years ago, the betting office I ran was visited now and then by a couple of scruffy characters who were each-way thieves as well as trying on the ‘slow count’ for dog races. They were both as thick as bulls lugs, but someone cleverer than they must have told them to invest the proceeds of their criminal activity on these each way bets. So, yes it’s as old as the hills, but it works.
April 5, 2008 at 08:32 #156058Apologies if this has been discussed earlier as I haven’t read all the posts but are these bets best settled by the bookies default of Win-win Place-place or is Equally Divided (‘Eachway all eachway’) preferential?
Or, as I suspect, do both perform similarly in the long term?
The knowledge that ‘dead eight’ EW doubles favour the punter may be as old as the hills but this is another interesting real-time trial from Seagull, particularly his suspicion-diverting method of placing them
Carry on chaps
