How do you decide which second favourites to bet on. Do you use the RO forecast or the actual morning odds.
In the first race which Greenbrigde won, it seemed too close to call as to which horse would go off favourite (in fact Greenbridge was favourite during the morning) so I left it alone. The other 2 horses you mentioned I selected along with Almaty Express in the 9:20 at WOL (8 declared).
And sods law, there was a NR in the Almaty Express race and the horse finished 3rd (of 7 runners). Bit of a kick in the teeth yesterday starting off with a 5/1 winner (Jurado Express) and the other 2 both finishing unplaced.

First of all I look for races where there are likely to be just 8 runners.
I use odds checker to look for likely second favs form morning shows normally around 11 a.m.If I am in betting shops I wait until live betting shows start.
If at home I use RUK and ATR.
Where the market is tight between a few horses I wait until last possible moment before phoning up.
There are occasions where the sec fav changes in favour of another horse but I have to accept that.Sometimes that one wins or get placed sometimes it dosesnt. Sods Law!
On here for puposes of calculations I just enter up the sole second fav win or lose.
