Ted.
Where you at me man?
Whats appening in your hood?
January 22, 2007 at 19:35 #103965This is an actual post on myspace from one of my daughters friends. <br> It sends out the general feeling of what life is like when you are white and living in Harrow.
<br>"You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "Gringo" and you think it’s OK.
…But when I call you Kike, sand nigger, rag head ,Towelhead, WOP, Camel Jockey, Gook, nigger, slant eyes or Chink you call me a racist.
-You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
-You have the United Negro College Fund.
-You have Martin Luther King Day.
-You have Black History Month.
-You have Cesar Chavez Day.
-You have Yom Hashoah
-You have Ma’uled Al-Nabi
-You have the NAACP.
-You have BET.
<br>-If we had WET(white entertainment television) …we’d be racist.
-If we had a White Pride Day… you would call us racist.
-If we had white history month… we’d be racist.
-If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives… we’d be racist.
-If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships…you know we’d be racist.
-In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights…you would call us racist.
-Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them… they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.
-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you’re not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
I am white.
I am proud.
But, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?
<br>Now watch, I’ll be a racist for posting this
So what? no one will re post this for fear of being called racist"
if you think its true re-post it saying "im not RACIST but<br> its true".
Pretty worrying stuff when 15 / 16 year olds are saying it.
don’t you think?
January 22, 2007 at 19:49 #103966No doubt, all the liberal’s amoungst us will try and ignore the last post.
But believe me, and I keep saying it, there may be trouble ahead!
Have you any views about it?
January 23, 2007 at 13:21 #103967I’m originally from Chiswick, but I lived in Northolt for 13 years, and I’m now living in Hayes.
Harrow sounds like paradise compared to where I live.
January 23, 2007 at 16:43 #103968Yeah, your right Janet.
I just thought it was quite a good piece, and thought you might like to see a young view of what I seem to rant about.
It doesn’t seem to be bothering me as much lately, maybe because I know I’ll be shipping out soon.
Ted.
Hayes is on a level par with Harrow. I worked there recently and it feels as dirty as Harrow does. Same type of people, same old sh*t.
You thinking of moving away like most of the others have done?
January 23, 2007 at 16:58 #103969I’ve heard of comments from a lot of people who agree with the sentiments expressed by Lolly’s daughter’s friend. <br>I also have pals in the USA and they complain about the same thing.<br>Luckily I live in a part of the UK which has not been effected by immigration so I have no first hand experience of it but it sounds bad in some areas from what people have told me.
January 24, 2007 at 18:50 #103970There are a lot of people on this forum who cannot grasp the misery that immigration is having on some communities. I tried to explain my own experience’s, and was told that I was wrong to feel the way I do.
Your very lucky to have not been affected by it.
BTW. Where do you live SC? It sounds like an area I would like to live in.
January 24, 2007 at 20:03 #103971Well I agree with you LM.<br>If I wanted to live in Somalia or India, I would have applied to move there, but now I feel like I’m living there anyway, and I don’t like it. <br>So after spending almost 50 years living in West London I feel like I’m being forced out, English is a foreign language where I live.<br>Some people might be verry happy to put up with that, but I’m not one of them.<br>In a few more years it will be the same all over.
January 24, 2007 at 22:24 #103972Lolly M.  I live in Devon – where all the beach scavengers come from;)  There are some immigrants down here but they really are a minority ( possibly because of the lack of suitable jobs – not an industrialised area ) and have not effected the lifestyle here at all.
Most of them seem ok with the exception of some east europeans who seem a bit hostile. I like the asians that I have met. There are very few muslims . I understand that London now has more immigrants living there than english born people so you will have noticed the difference a lot more. ÂÂÂ
January 25, 2007 at 18:09 #103973You are so right SC, the older generation asians are very hard working polite and pleasant people. The latest generation have imported an attitude form somewhere, maybe its because they are the majority "now", they feel superior? I dony know!
My personal experience of eastern European’s, is that they are only here for the money. They start work for whoever, and are good working for 6 months, then get a bit cocky, want more money for less hours, then move on. Thats why I personally cannot see any long term benefit of mass immigration the likes of what we are seeing.
I love Devon. My cousin lives in West Bay, and I spent many a week in a caravan in Bridport when I was growing up. Possibly my favorite part of the country.:)
January 26, 2007 at 20:51 #103974As one is Arsed. I have just clunk-clicked!
I would say that (a tangent, (do you remember the twistmiester, twist, )tangent thing:biggrin: )your town was the same as my one was some 30 years ago. Your lucky that yours has remained the same. (almost, I guess, although Britany quay is almost posh now;) ).
As to your racial undertones, Harrow is definatly not vindaloo. How dare you, "you racist bigot!"<br> Remember that one? Oh how I laughed!
Harrow is more like a cheap lamb tikka, smothered with extra hot chilli sauce.
Cos its going to explode very soon.
January 27, 2007 at 09:52 #103975.. we live in a democratic country, if you dont like current Immigration policy vote against it at the next General Election.
January 29, 2007 at 12:37 #103976Just out of interest, what percentage of the voting public do you think voted for Labour?<br>When you consider all the people who never voted, and all the people who voted for one of the other parties, my guess is that it was something like 15% <br>So if 15% of the people vote for you, you have complete control of everything that happens in the country?
Some bloody democracy that.
January 29, 2007 at 14:22 #103977Ted – if people can’t be bothered to exercise their democratic right to vote then the basis of the democracy clearly has to be based on those who did. It should be the % of those who VOTED that you quote.
January 29, 2007 at 18:10 #103978Grasshopper Posted on 3:46 pm on Jan. 29, 2007 <br>Democracy in this sceptred-isle is a fantasy <br>
<br>.. my point exactly, only you make it much clearer than than I do !
I would disagree with the point about it being the Public’s fault though. The Public on the whole dont care, unless something effects them directly and thats why we have a ‘no-choice’ system and all of the big decisions aren’t on the table at election time. Anyone with any sort of principals should be voting for a small minority party at the next election .. !
