I’m surprised Imposing wasn’t one of your initial fanices Gord!

Dont laugh thm but i have already enquired about

    Imposing

winning next years King George! I was offered 33/1! Bearing in mind i backed Dylan Thomas,Duke of Marmalade and Tartan Bearer in the last 3yrs months in advance and have backed Harbinger for this years at 25/1 last September then i have to say yes i have looked at him for the Ebor, just looking for now though as i see him as a proper 11/2m group horse, not a stayer!

Natural High is rated 90 (figure mentioned on the Melbourne Cup thread last week 8) ), and the lowest runner last year was 91, so it will be interesting to see if they try to get a penalty to ensure a run.

Natural High is entered in a 12 furlong handicap at Galway on Friday evening, would surely need to win to stand much chance in The Ebor, if so, penalty sorted.

Media Puzzle ran in that Galway handicap, the year he won the Melbourne cup – came 13th of 13.

Martyr now 6/1; good spot Darren. I guess he’ll get a penalty now? Whereas Jedi won’t, but probably won’t get into the race?

    All

    Martyr

has done for me by winning like a machine today is confirm that

    Imposing

will be a very big player in this years Ebor, particularly as he"s 9lb better off for beating Martyr at Royal Ascot!TAPK is snaffling the 12"s all round!

I do fear that today was Martyr’s Ebor, but I’m always well chuffed to back a horse and see it’s price come in. If it goes on to win the race it’s a bonus!

Good luck with that Moe but i"m afraid Martyr will find the Ebor a whole lot different than today,he will be run off his feet and the only other time he ran at York he finished last! Those of us clock watchers who dont listen to Barry B*llshit will tell you he is a 2m 29secs horse at Ascot over 11/2m on gd/frm carrying 8-10,acceptable but not great when you consider horses in front were giving him 10lb (Drill Sergeant)!

He was the real class act in this race.

Leaves me looking at Deauville Flyer now, not too bad seeing as he’s 20/1 :D

Sorry TAPK. Only just read your post. Knew for at least a week from somewhere that Lloyd Williams was looking to buy Imposing.

    Age of Aquarius

being pulled out of the St Leger at the 11th hour was a sickener but

    Harbinger

winning the King George was something else! There"s always the Melbourne Cup for

The horse that’s caught my eye here is Bay Willow, especially since Overturn isn’t certain to run. Nicely weighted, in decent form – will have to delve deeper, though!

So don't run, just like the others always do

No chance of getting in, but one to keep an eye on for the future. I’m on Martyr, Dirar and the Betchworth Kid, but hope that Bernie sneaks in at the bottom. And hope that Overturn doesn’t run

Overturn is running, so he’s my bet for this one.
