 this is still smoking!
I thought about backing these last night but Malchik looked well outclassed, just goes to show a system can beat the analysis.
January 18, 2002 at 21:12 #39128Well done hudsonmat two very nice winner, 52.5 points profit for january is quite outstanding.
Long losing runs like 14 and 11 look to be nothing to worry about, concidering the monthly profits achieved. Is this system just based on the all weather racing ?
Will look forward to your selections later.
Regards
daz.:cheesy:
January 19, 2002 at 11:08 #39129:biggrin: Inchcoonan 5.30Wolv:biggrin:
Inchcoonan is a non runner, so is magic charm, the next one in the list is Amandolo in th 5.00 Wolv.
But I dont know if will count as the system bets are both non runners.I’ll leave it to Matt.

January 19, 2002 at 12:14 #39130Hi all,
I hope some of you are making some money following this, 2 more winners yesterday 3/1 & 7/1.
Jan to date: 10/21, LSP +51.50.
Cheers Obiwan,
Yes Inchcoonan is a non runner.
The next selections are both in the 4.30 race though, Brocketeer and londolozi Lad, both winners 3 days ago.
As there are 2 selections in the race this is a NO BET day.
Regarding Non Runners, I usually post selections the evening before racing so it may be best to introduce the rule NON RUNNER = NO BET from today.
Darrell,
The system is not specifically aimed at the AW but alot of the selections do seem to be AW runners, especially recently when they have been doing so well.

January 19, 2002 at 16:26 #39131Hi Hud…. this looks nice and simple and more importantly, profitable……. I saw your mention of a couple of hefty losing runs, these are really not worth worrying about with a strike rate and odds like this….. I do feel however, that there might be more wonga to be made if the staking was to improve….. for instance, how many of your selections were placed and at what prices ???…… the reasoning behind this is the plain and simple fact that if you had 4 placed horse @ 7/1 in a rolling 4 timer, you would make a profit in excess of 30 points…… thats a 30 point profit without having a single winner….. gotta be worth having a look at, it could be possible that those losing runs might even be WINNING runs…… if you need help to check it out, PM me with the results and I’ll do the donkey work……. looks good Hud, keep smoking……

January 20, 2002 at 23:47 #39132Mr E,
All the results I have are on this thread.
Unfortunately the first 2/3 months were lost when the site went down.
I did think of backing EW but a lot of the prices prior to this month were quite restrictive as far as EW betting goes (in December there were half a dozen odds on shots).
Just one for Monday:
On The Trail
This won for us last week at 6/1 so hopefully will follow up today.
cheers
matt
January 21, 2002 at 15:01 #39133Another one pops in!
Well done Matt.
Come on MrE get your abacus out and give us some figures.
Regards – Matron
January 21, 2002 at 15:30 #39134Matron, there’s not a lot I can sort out with this thread of Huds. He’s doing very well at level stakes and thats the way to go for the present. There is a lot of results missing because of the crashes and I need that data to work out the best staking…… so, steady as she goes Huddy, time soon to move into second gear…… nice one mate…….

We must be due a losing run soon!!!!!
A rare NH selection tomorrow:
3.10 Leics – Fifth Generation
Just for interests sake if this were purely an AW system there would be teo selections tomorrow (Lumiere Du Soleil and Bolshoi Ballet).

January 24, 2002 at 23:21 #39139;)
Fraid you gonna have to replace Palawan with Tucacas as Wednesdays selection as it raced the precious day and won.
As it happens it was a non runner!
Its the old Massey page not including the previous days again, what can we expect though it is free!
January 24, 2002 at 23:52 #39140Incredible performance this month. Is it a freak or a taste of things to come. Regardless, to have made, what, a 100 pts LSP in three months is quite staggering. Well done, Hudsonmat!
January 25, 2002 at 07:14 #39141Obiwan,
Since this had happened before I have tried to use the Racing Post as much as possible which I did for the day you are talking about.
Tucacas did win the day before but was already a non runner on the RP web site the evening before racing suggesting this was only entered in case the previous days racing was abandoned so I thought it wise to put in Palawan.
A similar thong happened last week when you put up Inchcoonan and it was a non runner.
There was another selection that day (Can’t remember the name though.) that had won the day before but because it was entered in a maiden had to be withdrawn. Again I would have ignored this.
Basically I am making my selections the night before racing using a bit of common sense regarding very early withdrawals. As I work during the day there is little I can do about withdrawals on the day of racing.
I don’t know if any of that makes any sense but if you all out there think I should still remove Palawan then I will no problem.
cheers
matt
January 25, 2002 at 10:25 #39142Yeah no problem, Keep it in.
not that 2 pts makes much difference!
I wonder what the performance is like on just the AW and just turf?
Also I wonder what the results would be if we looked at all the seven day winners?
I ‘m not really up o the entires/withdrwal procedure, although obvoiusly a horse cant run in a maiden if won the previous day.
January 26, 2002 at 11:26 #39143Spanish Star won at 4/1.
Jan to date: 13/26, LSP +60.00.
Saturday:
1.55 Donc – Stromness
Another turf runner today, just for interest the AW selection would have been Inchcoonan.
cheers
matt
