June 7, 2009 at 17:52 #232495I did place a double yesterday but just couldn’t get on this site yesterday to post it. Anyone else struggle to get on here yesterday? Anyway, I will ignore yesterdays double as a consequence (which for the record was Fame and Glory and Red Avalanche).

Sularno 4.40 Southwell 5-1June 7, 2009 at 18:49 #232506I should have taken the 3-1 Swiss Art. Ah well, will only matter if Sularno wins.

Trading Nation 4.25 Newbury 7-1
Tinkerbelle 5.35 Yarmouth 5-2 (maybe should have gone SP?)I could really do with a winning double soon. Trading Nation must be better then he showed last time when beaten odds on while Tinkerbelle has obvious place claims. Others on my shortlist included Strathcal (rejected due to Devil To Pay in same race) and Everaard (rejected due to unexposed Al Qeddaff in race).

Another shocking day. Just cant get this right at all. Things better pick up soon or I’ll be going back to the drawing board!
June 12, 2009 at 18:01 #233547Friday 12th June
Bollin Felix 3.25 York 4-1
Peace Corps 4.55 Sandown 9-2My shortlist included Manitoba (5.15 M Rasen), Ailsa Craig (8.45 Chep), Just Like Silk (8.00 Good), Last Flight (7.10 Aint).
But figure Bollin Felix will like step up in trip on a galloping track and Peace Corps was such an eyecatcher last time and L Dettori catches the eye.
June 12, 2009 at 19:20 #233557Cant believe it. 4th for Bollin Felix. That just sums up my luck at present. He missed the break and got caught in rear off a slow pace.

The winners will come, douginho, the winners will come – your unyielding determination is to be commended though.
I’ve had a small each-way interest in Brief Candle (1.50 Sandown @ 16/1) and Macdillon (3.10 York @ 12/1) this afternoon.
