    It was a silly question Aidan …quite frankly

    It would be no suprise at all to me if OB had lost a little edge after campaigning that has been admirably extensive.

    She has been beaten by better horses on the day, but also suffered from some very poor rides and luck (Sandown prime example)

    Dylan Thomas pulled himself around the first half of the Juddmonte like Rakti in the Eclipse a couple of years ago. He beat himself on the day. It’s perhaps interesting that out of 9 rides, he’s only ever won when a stable jockey – i.e. someone who’s ridden him in work numerous times – has been on board.

    Being a strong jockey and being able to get a horse to settle don’t necessarily go hand in hand. Some jockeys can settle a horse better than others but strength has little to do with it.
