No form at Ascot was Charlie Appleby however things are different and banging the winners in. Have a good record with 2yos at this meeting to.

I would be disappointed if the most exposed horse won this, and Heavens Gate looked as if she might be better over shorter. So likely one of less obvious one’s for me, but will wait on the declarations, and also try and guage how much rain they get.

In general the entries are not great for some of the condition races.

Good race I thought. Picked out 6 I liked so would usually leave it alone but have had a couple of small bets on MAW LAM and FIERY LUCY.
ML was slow away at ascot (same at Beverley) and was drawn 4 so that run can be upgraded.
FL win last time has worked out well enough, non runner last entry when it went soft on pretty polly day. Drying ground is key.
9/1 and 12/1 respectively. No expectations, I’ll enjoy regardless

I’m quite keen on Heaven’s Gate… I don’t think she was given the best of rides at Ascot and this course is flatter. I think she could prove as a class above these

really stupid here but was not happy when the moved Enchanting Empress and she ran not up to scratch at Royal Ascot but had a very small each way bet at 100s
