Jered is drifting like a barge and despite what I said before the race cut up 6/1 is very generous and I’m not convinced Pandorama is much better the way he scraped home last time.
I think Catch Me would have won this had he been running but Eggy O’Grady sends the much less exposed Pesoto instead. Seems the Irish punters have latched on to it and he’s now favourite. However Catch Me looks to have the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle at his mercy and it could well be their money might be misplaced. He finished 2nd to Joncol I see but something had to in a small field but showed little afterwards
I’m going against the grain here and backing Jered ew in the hope AP gives him a smack around the head to waken up his ideas. He looked lethargic to me when he won last time, it was almost like he couldn’t be bothered lifting himself off the ground to get over them. Could be that Noel Meade has been taking it very slowly with him and against what my learned friend thinks I think he needs the trip and no way is he a doubtfull stayer……won’t be saying that when he wins the Eider next season

Give him a kick in the belly Tony and drive that sleepy headed mule home

They make Jered 5/1 fav for this
Guess they must have been impressed with his win the other day. Yours truly was not! Definitely a horse of limited ability but I guess it depends on what else runs. I’d make him about a 12/1 shot if a few of the others take their chances. And you’re now prepared to back him at 7/1?
December 2, 2009 at 13:03 #261759Yey, got my 33-1 on Caim Hill again, quite lookin forward to this race just hope they go a decent pace, care of Alpha Ridge, as Caim Hill should be quite a strong finisher.
December 2, 2009 at 17:00 #261825I thought the first two were very impressive, they both finished very strongly in what must have been tough conditons. Bothe will probably improve for a trip

Stop being an ass mate. I did say depending on what else ran. Looked a very poor race at the end of the day in comparison to the initial entries.
I doubt if those with intended runners at Cheltenham will lose much sleep over that lot. look a real moderate lot to me.

Yup but it’s a long time until the 2011 Grand National
None of those will be plundering prizes across the water.December 3, 2009 at 00:32 #261878Still think PANDORAMA needs to improve in the jumping department. Has an engine in there though….
