    Have just read on facebook that Jan Voke’s mare, Hettie, that was badly injured in the fire has, after being nursed back to health, given birth to a new little foal [don’t know the sex]. Was only thinking of them the other day, with Jan having a book out. So pleased for them.

    Lovely news Moe what a brave mare she is and her story touched the heart of so many.
    Hope to hear more of how she is now and of course some pictures of Hettie with her new foal would be nice if anyone can find some. :heart: Jac

    It’s a filly foal called Elsie. Don’t know how to put the pictures up though. She looks really well, bless her.

    Thanks for this Moehat. It’s made my day! I imagine that Jan V is also happy with the casting of Toni Collette as herself in the forthcoming film “Dream Horse” too. Though maybe not as chuffed as Howard Davies is with Damien Lewis!
