MD jumped adequately, and being impeded following Quel Esprit’s fall didn’t help his cause. Even so, if he was the horse most of us thought, he would should still have picked the other two off without much trouble.
I’m afraid to say that Mikael D’Haguenet flatters to deceive and is hitherto scrathed from any prospective betting plans I may have.
Put simply, he is not a top class chaser.

My fiver E/w on Micky D at 14/1 for the RSA looks a bit pants.
The only hope for those of us that backed him is that I cannot see why he would want a drop in trip?! He basically plodded the whole way through his race and was just staying on at the one pace. perhaps that would have been enough to beat the first two in this race…but I’m really not convinced about that. He did have time to recover IMHO.
If he turns up in the RSA at least backers will have something to watch.
