Just been done at Roscommon by a horse that’s never won a race, from a trainer who’s had two winners in two years.

Anyone with similar sob stories ?

    Any evidence on that ?
I recall them calling foul on a Barney Curley multiple
Mind you he is a shrewd character, and I wouldn’t fancy laying one of his, never mind a multiple !

    Noticed another one earlier

Klepht, hot favourite for the last at Roscommon, beaten by a horse who had been hammered a total of 134 lengths in two previous outing, trained by a man with one previous winner in four years !!!!!

But who probably should have had a winner at Kilbeggan just two weeks back had the horse not made a complete horlicks of a couple of hurdles.

When Cool Newport comfortably won on her hurdling debut last year, her flat form figures read 0000 having been beaten by 30, 27, 29 and 31 lengths and only finishing ahead of 2 of her 61 opponents.

These things happen and they happen frequently too. Especially at courses like Roscommon. If one’s going to gamble then "these things" always have to be factored in.

That’s not the point of the thread. We all know these things happen

Just wanted to hear similar examples.
