Fatal fall in the Savills
Not sure how wise it is for horses to make comebacks from injury in such competitive races

RIP Disko. I saw him winning at Down Royal and thought he was fabulous; he’s been the background photo on my phone ever since.
What a beautiful looking horse and devastated to read this news tonight what a sad loss to all concerned with him and especially since he returned on the back of an injury, poor boy.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...I thought he was given a very strange ride – out the back until very suddenly being asked to quicken approaching that last fence – he didn’t look full of running to me and I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but pulling up was surely the better option after all it was a come back run … RIP Disko
