Glad to hear from Kingy that Grandeur D’ame has been kept fresh for this race since beating Ga Law on seasonal reappearance, I was wondering why we hadn’t seen him since. I like his profile, he acts well round Cheltenham and I expect he’s improved from last year. Too much to like to turn down 8/1.
December 14, 2024 at 07:11 #1715372In Excelsis Deo, just like last time. Hope he will do better now. Also a saver on Il Ridoto.
In Exelsis Deo 11/1
Il Ridioto 11/1December 14, 2024 at 09:00 #1715379Le Patron was a Grade 1 winning novice and I took 20s on him last time out so keeping the faith with him.

December 14, 2024 at 13:10 #1715427If Stage Star comes on for that first run then he really should be going close , nice e.w value , one of the best for the day , fly in the ointment is that Skelton could be liking the handicapper in the eye with his

Thanks Mike and everyone else.
It was a hefty enough bump but Gemirande had adjusted right at both previous fences and Skelton was right behind so would have seen this, should’ve come up to challenge a bit wider out.Does anyone know why Madara left Sophie Leech by the way? She did well to come and beat the Irish in their own back yard, and although she sends a lot of runners to France she still trains here, so don’t know why he was moved.

“Charlie wasn’t quite sure how he was going to do the weight (10st 2lb) and I didn’t know what he was going to amputate! Yesterday, I think he was 10st 7lb and he said ‘I’ll do the weight’”A good ride considering he must have been pretty dehydrated.
