He is but with one big difference.instead of going pftt!!! at the end of his races he goes zoooooooooooooom!!!!
December 25, 2008 at 05:45 #199125As you were.
December 25, 2008 at 16:11 #199146Sizing Europe for me in a canter. At 6/4 you have to have a bit of that. Should be odds on in my opinon.
December 25, 2008 at 22:53 #199155Fists – As firm believer in the catchphrase "There’s no such thing as a bad Benn fight", i’ll take that as a compliment.
December 28, 2008 at 16:26 #199802Guys, bit of a heads up the RP are stating that Sizing Europe might miss this once again due to an injury setback.
The trainer states: "Sizing Europe pulled out this morning with a bruised foot. We are going to treat the problem and try and get him to Leopardstown. We’ve declared him but he is not a definite runner."
Paddy Power are still open on antepost betting and you can get 4-1 the field
Get on!
December 28, 2008 at 16:37 #199806Sizing Europe is beginning to look like one of those to avoid horses. Always seems to have a niggle or be coming back from a niggle or not quite fit etc.
Perhaps I’m being a bit unfair on the horse but he won’t carry any of my money.

December 28, 2008 at 16:57 #199812Sad if he misses it….the dog!!! was very happy when Kauto won………….backed the beggar in a single plus he was the third leg of a treble with Star—luck (just had to shove him in with a name like that) ups and downs of racing I suppose…….hope they get him back on course soon<<<<<<<<<<<<<well maybe not
December 28, 2008 at 17:15 #199815Who would be your 2nd preference for this Fists if he does drop out?
I’d give Sublimity a decent shout and have backed him with PP at 4’s this morning
December 28, 2008 at 17:34 #199819You would have to think he would have the beating of Hardy Eustace and Brave Inca on this course but Hardy Eustace is probably better these days on easier tracks as Chelters is probably a bit too much for the old boy these days
If Hardy Eustace sets a very strong pace and keeps it up until about the second last before feeling the pinch it could find out Sublimity who has definitely got stamina issues.
I would be tempted to go with the younger horse Muirhead who looked in need of his race behind HE and Brave Inca.
He might just have enough toe to beat Sublimity if it comes to a fight to the wire.
December 28, 2008 at 22:37 #199908It’ll surely be hard to kick Sublimity out of the frame- with the doubt about the fav he looks the value each-way at 4-1.
December 28, 2008 at 23:52 #199930If Sizing Europe run under a cloud hard to argue with that but I can’t see anyone laying him now without deductions if SE is withdrawn. Surely he will be much shorter in a new book?
I hoping it’s a case of, if he runs he wins. Can’t see them taking any chances if he shows the least sign of feeling it in the morning.
December 29, 2008 at 00:24 #199938Sublimity for a win @ 4s and Won In The Dark e/w @ 20s whether sizing europe runs or not. Would have liked to see jered line up in this.
December 29, 2008 at 00:35 #199943For info, any of you looking to back Sublimity here – Rule 4 shows that we’d lose 40p in the pound if Sublimity won in a Sizing Europe absence.
Thats roughly under 5/2 after deductions I believe.
I dont think I got on the antepost in time for this and actually got NRNB with PP Oh well.
If SE turns up here he really should win
December 29, 2008 at 03:10 #199998I was really suggesting backing Sublimity in the morning if SE runs- even if he pulls out sound tomorrow it’s hardly an ideal prep- a lot of people fussing around him in the 48 hours before a Grade 1 race.
December 29, 2008 at 06:04 #200076Muirhead e/w.
I’m banking on youth and development in this battle of the scarred and wounded.
December 29, 2008 at 14:31 #200113Brave Inca all the way..
