Chiswick ,,I really think you should get with the programme, sit back the and enjoy , we dont have the wizard of words on this outpost much nowadays , so lets savour

Glen , I trust you have been seconded to head up security and integrity by the lizards , or at least the shrill tone of its calling was exhorting you to perhaps join the crew in the Kempton cess pit ,,,I would act fast as a lot more bags are being packed as we speak ,Gotham city is being emptied of donors rapidly.

    Sean  nice one

Chizzers wrote…This is without doubt the weirdest and most senseless thread I have encountered here

Poor boy, Chiz. Not recognising culture is a great sadness and indicative of a wasted life. But do not condemn yourself too greatly as you are just one of many wisps of fauna floating around these margins.
For those of us blessed with an appreciation of the art of the word artisan I am always humbled by the offerings of Gamble, an enigma in his own lifetime, a purveyor of sophistication and a weaver of vocabulary the likes of which defines a man of great stature and immense capacity to see beyond the vagaries of we mere mortals.

Given time and understanding, Chizzers, you too could join us on this journey of learning and savour the joys of exploring the mind of Gamble. Unfold, as a bud unfolds unto a flower.

We can all appreciate the artistry of a you din’t see it coming ending. Sadly these days ‘..and then they woke up and dicovered it was all just a dream’ seems to be the stock ending.

A top-class pickpocket might induce some begrudging admiration, but all too often these days it’s route one: a sawn-off shotgun waved in your face.

Had a lady visitor on Saturday
    who scorns racing and the
    gambling that goes with it
so reluctantly had to shut up
shop and miss most of Epsom,
    like Fallon, but after
    several visits to the toilet
    I did manage the Derby.

    Ken Ricky and Glenn
I exist in the shahdow of
many in here but thank you
    heartily for your support.
    I tried to write
    that yesterday but found
no fifteen minutes in a day
    full of mundane jobs and
    heavily watched and
    minus the joys of Folkestone

    Mr Moon of spotlight fame
raised a dormant chuckle in me
    describing Fallon’s first
    ride back on Monday
after his hell on the M25
    and a bad sea crossing.

    Silver Wind

    yesterday 2.45 Folkestone
    3/4 lenth second

    …Disappointing he couldn’t deliver when
well backed and best in at the weights
when in one of these at Windsor last time
,where he took too long to find top gear;
still one of the better options and will have the
benefit of the Fallon drive :D
