I was horrified to see the way that he lay motionless when he hit the ground in the National. Will he still be able to work with horses? Appears not. What a shame. Portrait King was going so well till he fell as well.

It is a real shame, especially since it seemed like Davy was becoming the go-to man for Gordon Elliott in big handicap hurdles. He had a really cool head and seemed especially good at getting wins from the ‘travels strongly, finds little’ type.
