Hit a 5 timer and 100% from all his rides today, the guy is in some form after his lengthy ban which was uncalled for imo when clearly his best interest was the horse.
Underrated and was even considered for top posts at Ballydoyle when Spencer left and Stoutes yard, hopefully he may get some big rides, he deserves them.

Its a bit more difficult to ride winners in fields of 20+ than the miserable numbers at Musselburgh.
I suspect the horses had as much to do with the successes as the jockey, only one of the five wasn’t first or second favourite in the Post.

There’s plenty of meetings composed of small fields but how often does a jockey win five out of five even aboard fancied rides. I think Darryll deserves a lot of credit for his performance. Top Man, Dazzler….Quality!

June 19, 2009 at 16:17 #235199Holland not a bad rider, especially on front runners
He has ridden for the likes of Hills and Cumani in the past- guess if big stables like these has wanted him they would have done so
Assume he will ride many of Channon’s on an informal agreement? - AuthorPosts
