February 15, 2022 at 09:29 #1583225Laying off betting for a few weeks til I have more expendable cash so I’ll be cheering on your lads golfers this week.
Out of curiosity do any of you guys play golf? And if so have any of you got a respectable handicap? Just started playing it and boy is it hard lol, don’t even have a handicap but if I did it’d probably be around +40. Have never hit a driver in my life so my goal this spring is to learn how to hit it – I’ve watched plenty of youtube videos lol just need to hit the range. Have based my iron swing on Morikawa – started with Sungjae but it was too slow so had to meet in the middle and go for Colins swing, only makes sense to copy the best iron player in the game imo!
February 15, 2022 at 14:11 #1583238Yes Ben I play (well sort of). I am currently playing off 20 handicap and am in the society singles matchplay semi finals but that is more by luck than good play I think!!
Keep trying and who knows how good you will end up but be sure to enjoy it and don’t take it to seriously unlike betting LOL
February 15, 2022 at 16:33 #1583269That’s quality Raymo! Have you been around that handicap mark for a while? It’s really one of those sports that you have to play consistently isn’t it, which is tricky given the weather in this country and the finances required to play the nice courses! Playing this year really made me realise why the Yanks/Aussies/SA’s do so well in golf, it’s all about the climate. Feel sorry for the British young prospects, having to play on courses that couldn’t be more different than those played on the PGA tour, how are you meant to get better when you’re hitting it out of knee-high rough instead of the 1cm long rough they get over in the States. When you add ontop of that the weather making it hard to play regularly and the courses being wetter and greens slower – almost impossible for any Brit to dominate the sport unless they move to the states at a young age.

Viktor Hovland 25/1 (33/1 1st round leader market)
It was a shock when he missed the cut at the Phoenix last week but
I think he can get back better things this week. T5 here last
year, I can’t see him not involved come Sunday.Joaquin Niemann 66/1 (60/1 1st round leader market)
He’s got a lot of talant this guy and finished T6 last time out
in the Farmers played well and has had a week off so should be fresh
for this. 66/1 (best price 60s now) is too big for him. A good shoutAndrew Putnam 150/1 (100/1 1st round leader market)
He’s either with it or awol, but looked to be happier with his game
and although he missed the cut at the phoenix last week his previous 2
were T14 at the American Express and T6 at the AT&t Pebble Beach.
Anything like that form puts him in the mix and 150?1 8 places
seems bonkers to me. Good chance of a place at least.Sebastian Munoz 225/1 (90/1 1st round leader market)
I think this is a great bet. He’s a bit of a streaky player,
but a T4 at the Zozo and a T3 at the RSM in his last 6 outings
isn’t at all bad. Pretty steady in his last 2 starts T38 in the
Farmers and T23 in the Phoenix is not bad. He could just surprise
a few, I reckon he’s too big to turn downThat’s me this week guys, lets hope for of the same from the last
few weeks
I used to play golf in my younger years Ben, I even was told I had a good
swing, but I didn’t play enough to get to where I hoped to be, work always
got in the way.February 17, 2022 at 19:30 #1583594Matty Fitz non runner so have replaced him with Adam Scott 40/1
Be Lucky Guys
February 18, 2022 at 02:49 #1583613Feck me, another good start for the team. Niemann 1st round leader
on his own at 60/1
8 under with 9 birdies, what a round.
Anything else for me is a bonus.Plenty of time yet for you guys to be there come Sunday,
good luck
February 18, 2022 at 10:39 #1583621Just checked out the leaderboard very nice BigG! Well done again mate!! Hopefully he can maintain it until Sunday night.
February 18, 2022 at 16:43 #1583679Cheers Ben, he couldn’t have started much better in the 2nd round, 3 under for
his round after 4
February 19, 2022 at 10:42 #1583748TOP STUFF GRAHAM
Let’s see if we can’t get the job done come Sunday night
February 19, 2022 at 10:45 #1583749We do have a few there or thereabouts behind yer man Graham so hopefully one of us will get the job done

Jones Scott Hovland Munoz Hossler all not far off the places so fingers crossed
February 19, 2022 at 16:16 #1583860Thanks Raymo, and yes we’ve got a few in there with real shouts after the 2nd round.
As long as one of us gets the spoils I’ll be well pleased
February 20, 2022 at 12:55 #1583975J Niemann going well guys My best hope is Hovland
February 20, 2022 at 13:01 #1583976WTA DOHA CHAMPIONSHIP
GABRINE MUGURUZA 18/1
Got to final here last year and got a nice draw here to go one better she enjoys playing in desert conditions won in Dubai last year Cirstea in 1st round AZARENKA be tough but can beat her. A danger is KREJCIEKOVA a chance Ostapenko be tired to.
JESSICA PEGULA 25/1
She a improving player from America in a soft Quarter while Sakkrai tough in last 16 can beat her. While test of route be hard she not to be under estimated
Andre Rublev in final today vs Felix AUGER ALLISAME so hope he wins it
Resi of my bets
ASLAN KARATSEV 40/1 ATP Dubai duty free championship
Big serving Russian who won here here last year and add another title to. Has Mc Donald 1st then May get Rublev but he had a lot of tennis last 2 weeks.
MARIE BOUZKOVA 22/1 WTA GURRAJAJA OPEN
She enjoys playing in Mexico got to a final here before has Doi in 1st match then maybe Mc nally could get Keys in semi final. And could go close here
SEBASTIAN BAEZ 8/1 ATP Santiago open
Last event on the clay in South America and this talent can break his duck. Has easy matches but get tough with Delbonis in quarter finals and Ramos vinolas in last 4.
JAIME MUNAR 20/1
In other side of the draw has qualifier and later on Coria be tough while Garin nor in same form last year
STEFANOS TSISTIPAS 7/1 ATP ACAPAULCO
big hitting Greek who got to final here last year not in best of form but draw is good here. With Djere 1st maybe Sonego and Carreno busta may get ZVEREV in semi final but ZVEREV may not get that far
TAYLOR FRITZ 40/1
Loves playing in this country got to a final here in 2020 and also in Los capos to. Big hitting American he is. Got Mannarino then Lopez yes Medvedev be hard but could beat him
Nadal in last 4 and not be under estimated hereFebruary 20, 2022 at 15:10 #1583990Another tennis winner Andre Rublev won open 13 he beat last weeks winner in thread
Felix AUGER ALLISAME a 3/1 winnerFebruary 20, 2022 at 18:41 #1584020Nice one with Andre Rublev Darren
February 20, 2022 at 21:56 #1584045I’m hoping that eagle on the 11th puts Niemann safe, but too many holes
to think it’s all over. I thought Munoz at 225/1 might hang on for a place,
but he’s made dropped out of the picture. Hovland should be in the money - AuthorPosts
